Disaster! A couple of months ago, we made arrangements with our Collision Center to replace our windshield, add mud flaps & do some touchup on a couple of scrat A couple of months ago, we made arrangements with our Collision Center to replace our windshield, add mud flaps & do some touchup on a couple of scratches. We were told at the time it would take about 2 hours & we would get a loaner car. The windshield finally came in & we made an appt with Mark Johnson for 10 AM Tues July 30th. My husband is in hospice care & was very ill that morning, so my son, Tom, took the car over for me. After he left, I called Mark Johnson & explained the situation & told him not to do the paint touchup, so my son would not have to wait so long. He then told me, my appt was for the next day. I argued, saying I wrote it on the calendar as I was talking to him. He said he would "deal with it" when my son got there. My son was there until after 3 pm waiting for the work to be done & he did not get a loaner car, so he was stuck at the dealership for over 5 hours. He asked 3 different people to check on the status for him & no one did. He finally just walked into Mark Juettner's office & heatedly told him the problem. Shortly after that the car was "done". I am very upset at the way things went. Since the original timeline was 2 hours & I did not get the paint job done - why did it take so long? Mark Johnson did call me about 10 minutes after our phone conversation & said I was right - the appt was for that day & the one on Weds was another Cherokee. Am wondering what really happened. We have always dealt with Juettner's since 1984 & have had no complaints about them. We bought 4 different vehicles from them & have had all our service work done by them. We have always been treated with kindness & respect. That is why I don't understand what happened that day. This is the first time we dealt with the collision center. I don't know if I would do so again, but will continue to bring the car over for servicing. More
