Keffer could have been a little more flexible and throw in the SD card )for navigation) free of charge. You can still do it, word of mouth is the best advertising anyone can have!!! hate car buying and hate spending hours in a car dealership to close a deal so I did all my research - the specs I want on the car, the incentives I am entitled to, and at the very least, a discount dealership to close a deal so I did all my research - the specs I want on the car, the incentives I am entitled to, and at the very least, a discount from the dealership. I saw the car I wanted through the car-buying apps and Keffer Mazda of Huntersville reached out to me. After emailing them what I want, carwise and cost-wise, they responded back that they will give me all the rebates, incentives and their pricing and an appt was set for me to see the "VIP" manager. Dealership was nice and clean - and that's the one star that you see, because all the other stars have fallen off due to their dishonest salesperson, specifically Jose and Javier. When I arrived there, and introduced myself - Javier kept asking me what I was looking for. I kept referring him to the email I sent - as all the specs were there. Then Jose comes and asks me the same thing - so I refer him to the email - and then Javier shows him my email. Then Jose, in his effort to put pressure on me to buy that day, tells me that the Loyalty rebate ends that day. What a liar - because the Loyalty rebate ends Aug. 31! And when I bring it to his attention, his excuse was, "We got a memo today that it ends today!." Liar! The Mazda website has it ending August 31. (He can't pull a fast one on me.) It takes them at least 30 minutes to bring out the car to where I can see it. At this point, Javier disappears and I am left with Jose (I think he is more senior in position). The car is brand new but then there are scratches on the front bumper. My husband points it out to him - and he says, "we'll fix it for you." Excuse me, I am supposed to buy a brand new car - that means no scratches" As I check the inside of the car, the Preferred Equipment package is not there (no moonroof, etc.) And I waited more than 30 minutes to get the wrong car? So we go back in, because he now has to bring one out with the right option. As we are waiting inside the dealership, I see him inside too, sitting in the cubicle - and not even updating me as to what is going on. So at this point, I go to him to let him know that I was leaving and that he was not ready for me. So much for their so-called VIP treatment! So buyer beware - and if I were you, I will not waste my time going there. If you still insist because they have sweet talked you into coming, or because you have taken their bait, then come armed with knowledge and research and read the fine print and all the details because they will try to pull a fast one on you at some point of your dealings with them if you are not paying attention. I thought it would take forever but they had my oil changed & Saturday - made appt. online - was very easy. When I arrived, the place was very busy. BUYER BEWARE. Bait and switch. I found the car I was looking for. Tried to negotiate the transaction via phone, wire funds and have vehicle delivered. Simple right? I was told there were discounts with looking for. Tried to negotiate the transaction via phone, wire funds and have vehicle delivered. Simple right? I was told there were discounts with the vehicle but they could only unlock the VIN upon my arrival at the dealership. So, I took a day off from work, drove 3 hours there. They asked what price I was looking for, wrote down the offer, in detail of how much down in cash, the rest check, then returned and told me there were NO discounts with that vehicle. Bait. Switch. Don’t walk away-Run like I did!! More
Liar, Liar Pants On Fire. Had my 2005 Mazda Van in for a check engine light on. Left it over-night that turns into days, weeks, and finally a whole month. Are you fricken kidd Had my 2005 Mazda Van in for a check engine light on. Left it over-night that turns into days, weeks, and finally a whole month. Are you fricken kidding me? You have a 100K testing machine yet, in the end, they couldn't figure out what the problem was or fix it. Pick it up a month later and spending about a thousand dollars I was really pissed. A few months later, I call to schedule an appointment for a recall. Spoke with a receptionist, she then transfers me to the service guy which then transfer me to the service manager but said he was busy. Took my name and number down and said he will call me back which never happen after I called back a few times to leave a message for him to call me back. I am writing this review because this dealership fail at every level of what customer service means. And if you are the owner, CEO, manager, or whatever, get your chicken head out of your A** and wake the xxxx up. More
My Mazda needed repair for several recalls, I admit I was a little skeptical based on past experiences with dealerships, but these guys are top-notch, they repaired everything plus a few recalls that I did n a little skeptical based on past experiences with dealerships, but these guys are top-notch, they repaired everything plus a few recalls that I did not even know I had, they provided an excellent loaner vehicle to make sure I had a car until the repairs were complete. Excellent management, excellent work, highly recommend :-) More
It is June 2020. They don't have an internet department and they will not communicate via email. They force you to come into the dealership. First dealership I have seen do this. I have bought over 10 new and they will not communicate via email. They force you to come into the dealership. First dealership I have seen do this. I have bought over 10 new cars in last 20 years and all have been online and cars have been dropped off at my home. If you have time to waste and going to the dealership and dealing with the typical dealer politics, then this place is for you. More
