Wosrt car buying experience Bait and switch. Change interest rate 3 times AND was financing the WRONG car. Not our fault they wrote up the wrong car. They even forgot to put the Bait and switch. Marauder received its first annual service-state inspection under my ownership. My only complaint is the email notification procedure. I originally received the correct email notification of my service appointment. Then, I received an email changing my appointment to a day earlier - I changed it back online. While I was waiting in the dealer waiting area at the appointed time, I receive an email stating I had missed my appointment and to reschedule. Strange. More

F 150 not running properly with check engine light on. Dropped truck off Tuesday morning to be worked on. Received a call Wednesday indicating diagnosis and needed repair. Unfortunately they did not have the parts and would take at least 2 days to receive them. When they did receive the parts they repaired the truck. The truck was in the shop for 6 days because of waiting on parts. I also had to pay for the shipping of the parts which shouldn’t be the customers responsibility. More
First oil change and service of my wife’s 2018 explorer After getting home from the first service I noticed the air pressure on all four tires was 9 lbs lower than the recommended pressure and there was no After getting home from the first service I noticed the air pressure on all four tires was 9 lbs lower than the recommended pressure and there was no indication on the service report that was attached to my receipt that the air pressure had been adjusted or checked by the service technician. The following day I took the explorer back to the dealership and spoke with Rick Farmer explaining to him what I had found he asked a couple of questions and without hesitation he directed me to a service bay and said I will meet you there,which he did and he then said the service man would be right out and correct the air pressure on the tires which as I found out the tires were filled with nitrogen which I was not aware of. Rick then told me if I had any more problems be sure to let him know. He is certainly an asset to this dealership!! More

Caution This visit went well enough - annual service and state inspection for my 2006 Ford Ranger XLT 4wd. I corrected techs on the proper way to rotate tire This visit went well enough - annual service and state inspection for my 2006 Ford Ranger XLT 4wd. I corrected techs on the proper way to rotate tires on a rwd, non-unidirectional tire vehicle. Was charged for 6 qts. of oil when this vehicle only calls for 5 qts. - I asked for the credit to be applied to my upcoming annual service and tire purchase for Marauder. Previous experiences here have been a comedy(?) of errors. Parts that didn't arrive because they weren't ordered. Rescheduled recall appointments because parts failed to arrive(?) or were given to another customer out of turn. New tires installed without replacing the 12yo valve stems. Someone passing gas inside of Marauder was adding insult to injury - Marauder had to return another day because the parts were never ordered to begin with. I will continue to work with them as their location is convenient to me. Upcoming annual service and state inspection for Marauder and Mustang - Marauder will be getting new tires through the dealership, as did Ranger and Mustang. One saving grace for this dealer is the wash/detail shop that accepts outside customers during slow periods. More
Service Manager ! Service Manager was no help in resolving a replacement tire issue. Tires were bought at Hawthorne and on lasted 22,000 miles. Service Manager said he would not support any warrenty on tires because I was 3,000 miles late on tire rotation. Hawthorne will do and say anything to get out of any warranty issue. Beware of getting any service at this dealership. Also you will have to wait “hours” to get informed - Hawthorne Ford is going to do nothing for you. More
