BAIT AND SWITCH I had a bad experience this week at Kelly Ford. In summary I feel victimized by the classic bait and switch tactic and am very frustrated with the wa I had a bad experience this week at Kelly Ford. In summary I feel victimized by the classic bait and switch tactic and am very frustrated with the way they handled the situation. Here is a brief description of events. Wednesday I test drove a car my daughter is interested in. Thursday, she started the paper work online and I gave my credit card information to hold the car. My last conversation with the sales person was the car was in the shop for inspection, and everything could be ready for Friday. Friday, I arrived with my daughter to find out from the sales manager that a prior deposit had been placed on the car and it was not available, and offered other cars that were not even close to what we wanted. I received communication from the salesperson asking me to call the sales manager, which I did. We played phone tag throughout the morning, and the only voice communication was an agreement on an appointment time. A simple explanation of the delay would have saved me about 3 hours of my time and approximately 60 miles of driving in the wrong direction to resolve the issue of helping my grad student get on with her new life. In closing I will add that Kelly Ford has also alienated a young person in trusting car dealerships. More
Best service I went there to get a oil change and was informed of some service that was required. Got there to pick up the vehicle and the price of the quote went down because the were honest about the service on my brakes. That made me a very happy customer! I have been going here for at least 3 years and no problems. More

Customer Service from Melvin Is Amazing! I have been taking my Ford Focus to Kelly Ford for years. I've had so many problems with this car...it's a real Lemon. Though I'm disappointed by Ford and how the company has handled known issues with their Ford Focus, I have only wonderful things to say about Melvin, Kelly Ford's customer service manager. He's patient and professional and able to explain problems and repairs clearly and quickly. He goes above and beyond for his customers and recently worked very hard to secure a loaner car for me when my car repairs were delayed because the parts had to be ordered. Melvin's friendliness and forthright communication style help diffuse the most stressful situations. He's a true asset to the company. More
