Our sales representative Phil Pettus was friendly, helpful and professional from start to finish, if you are thinking of purchasing a car I would definitely go see Phil! The finance manager was great and so was the lady who helped with our insurance as was the lady who gave me a class on how to use the Sync 3 and navigation unit. Sales scam Worst experience ever. Wish I could give no stars. Just go somewhere else. There are plenty of car dealerships in Melbourne and other Ford dealerships Worst experience ever. I went in around 4 on 12/12/17, told salesman Phil, my credit score and what I was looking for. He said no problem we can get you in a car! After showing me the highest priced car I obviously can’t afford, (because obviously my time is not valuable) we settle on the base model. At this point they low ball my trade-in by a ridiculous amount. They try to give me 10,000. KKB value is between 11884 and 13605. Mine should be closer to 13. I mention they have a car just like mine but not a hybrid (mine is) with higher mileage on their lot for around $13000 after which he says they get them at auction for 10 and what we sell them for isn’t what we pay. So I’m beginning to have a bad feeling but continue anyway. When I seem to be losing interest because I’m not liking the terms he says “well you had a charge off at BOA right?” That’s when I should have left. That’s an intimidation tactic. Translates to: “Hey you had a charge off! You’d better be happy with the crap we’re offering you.” It’s was $250.00. Many years ago. I wonder if he would have said that to a man? So I got another $500.00 on the trade. Anyway, now Vinnie comes over to explain how their getting me a Great Deal. 1.99 interest w Ford Motor co. on plan X. No problem. Pick your terms, which I did. Settled on a payment. Done deal. They switch my registration over to my new car. They take me to their insurance guy & switch my insurance to my new car. Then take me to finance. Sandy says, “so banks are closed now so we’ll get this all done in the morning.” I’m sitting there thinking What?? So I ask what do you mean? Isn’t this done, already?? Sandy says oh, didn’t they tell you? I said tell me what? They just transferred my insurance and registration to my new car. Are you saying there’s no finance deal? Sandy sputters a little and says well the banks aren’t open now so we’ll finish it in the morning. I say so are you telling me there’s really no deal and the interest could be higher and payment higher? Sandy says well uh is this the payment you agreed to? I said no it’s a little higher but I’m ok with it because I didn’t have exact pay off on my car. She says well that will be your payment with ford motor or we could use SCCU but whatever, well give you the best deal, I’ll call you in the morning. Proceeds to have me sign here there and everywhere. So after 4 hours of my life I will never get back, I drive off in my new car. Pretty awesome right? Well, no. Sandy doesn’t call in the morning. So at 12:30 I call her. She’s at lunch. Finally around 2:30 she leaves a message. I call back. She says Ford said no. SCCU said no. Ally said yes but not for enough money!! Now how could that possibly be? I’m sitting IN my new car. Registered to me! So I say I’ll be right over. I want my old car back. Apparently, now, Sandy thought it would be a good idea to let me wait for her in the lounge because..so now I’m headed for the front desk because xxxx no. Suddenly a man appears in front of my with my license plate explains their switching everything back and can I wait. I said no. Get my car, switch everything back and I’m leaving. What kind of scam is this? Why would you switch my registration and insurance if there’s no deal? No answer. Vinnie can’t even look at me and scurries away. Not so much to say today I guess. Sandy never did have the courtesy to show her face. I dealt with Ms Kelly who switched my insurance back, canceled the deal and registration. I asked her why would they switch everything over if there was no deal? No answer. So I can’t figure it out unless someone was getting some kind of kick back. Or maybe they’re just all stupid? Or maybe I just dodge some kind of scam by getting back in there ASAP. Don’t know. Don’t care. Just save yourselves the embarrassment of having to go to work and explain why you don’t have that new car they said was yours anymore and don’t go to Kelly Ford. To add insult to injury they put my license back on with a Kelly Ford plate. I drove straight into the service bay and had them remove it. More

This is the fourth time I have had my Fords (and I only buy Ford after Ford opted not to take US government money in 2009) serviced at Kelly- each time, the vehicle was returned sparkling clean, on time and with the work perfectly done. We got the keys, drove it to Nissan and traded it in on a new Frontier, and swore that never again would we buy another Ford. However yesterday, my wife and I took possession of a new F150 truck ordered and sold to us by the Pettus, Powell, Algieri-McCarthy, Shaton team at Kelly Ford. The change of our buying behavior is a result of the Kelly Sales Team honesty, integrity, professionalism, demonstrated knowledge, upfront non-pushy sales interactions and our renewed perception regarding Ford vehicle quality. Kelly was the 5th dealership contacted among other Ford concessions in St. Cloud, Kissimmee, Orlando and Daytona. The personal attributes delineated above were the key factors for selecting Kelly Ford. We traded in two vehicles as part of the purchase of our new F150; we did not get the Blue Book value that we perceived: Phil fully explained the process and Charlie gave a guarnateed bottom line that none of the other dealers would even consider. In regards to long term ownership, Jon, trying not to sell, convinced us why the extended warranty is a better deal for the vehicle. Cheryl dazzled us with knowledge about the truck's technology, and we forsee many future visits with her to learn from her expertise. Phil, the salesman and primary contact, oversaw the many aspects of the sale throughout the three month process. His military training, code of conduct and professionalism sold the vehicle upon our first encounter.
