Unsafe vehicle I leased a 2018 Jeep Cherokee. Over the past 6 months my vehicle's engine has shut down multiple times WHILE DRIVING due to what I was told is low oil I leased a 2018 Jeep Cherokee. Over the past 6 months my vehicle's engine has shut down multiple times WHILE DRIVING due to what I was told is low oil pressure. When I first brought it in to be checked I was given a diagnostic test and an oil change and all was well for the first 2 months. After only 2 and a half months and only 3,000 miles later, my Jeep was doing it all again... Shutting down on highways and Rotary's. To the point where I felt unsafe putting my child in the vehicle. I brought it back again knowing that there is clearly an issue. They did the same exact diagnostics and another oil change. Told me to come back after 1,000 miles to reassess. I am very upset with how this is being dealt because there is clearly an issue with the vehicle. It is NEVER ok for a vehicle to stop running while driving. And to be told that this is something that can happen is something that if I had known I would have never leased with Jeep. More
Car buying and service experience Over the last 11 years I have purchased 3 vehicles at Kelly. My last 2 purchases, a 2018 Pacifica Hybrid and a 2019 Jeep Renegade were made with the Over the last 11 years I have purchased 3 vehicles at Kelly. My last 2 purchases, a 2018 Pacifica Hybrid and a 2019 Jeep Renegade were made with the assistance of Steve Sirois of the sales staff. Steve is very knowledgeable, pleasant and makes the vehicle buying process easy. All my vehicles are serviced by Kelly. Artis and the service staff do a great job. More
Not happy - NOT RECOMMENDED - but maybe can turn it around NOT HAPPY AT ALL - VERY FRUSTRATING AND BITTER EXPERIENCE!!! I DEFINITELY FEEL LIKE I DIDN'T GET WHAT I PAID FOR!!! Purchased a vehicle here in NOT HAPPY AT ALL - VERY FRUSTRATING AND BITTER EXPERIENCE!!! I DEFINITELY FEEL LIKE I DIDN'T GET WHAT I PAID FOR!!! Purchased a vehicle here in August 2019. The very next day I drove the car for about 5 miles and tire pressure light went off. Took the car to my mechanic to check everything, and my mechanic told me that the battery is old and needs to be replaced, and that the tires are in bad shape and probably will not pass the inspection test. Returned to the dealer two days after purchase to request replacement of the battery and tires. Manager, Pablo told me that everything was checked when they prepared the car in the couple of days before we picked it up. I insisted so he offered to test the battery and check the tires. After service department did the test, Pablo wouldn't confirm that the battery was indeed at the end of its life (5++ years) but instead said they will replace the battery because the test was inconclusive!!! He still refused to acknowledge the issue with the used tires on the car, because the sensor light was no longer on. Basically, I made a mistake of asking my mechanic to put more air in the tires when the light went on, and should have instead come back with the light on so that maybe they acknowledge the issue with the tires. The explanation Pablo offered was that their service department thinks the tires have another year of use on them, and the reason the pressure light went on was because of my driving style... I drove the car for less than 30 miles in total in those 1 and a half days. Not sure what kind of driving style would cause that, but they still refused to acknowledge the issue. I still have the same problem with the tire pressure, and will contact the dealer to see what they can do to turn this around. But so far, I am very disappointed with the service, and would NOT RECOMMEND purchasing a used vehicle here. At the very least I expected not to have to invest anything into this car for at least a year. Now, after spending over $15000, I have to drop hundreds of dollars for a new set of tires (I have to replace them because in the cold weather these are not reliable especially since I have to deal with tire pressure issue every week). You just don't know what you are going to get. Lastly, the day of the purchase they assured me that fluids have been checked, inspection done, and that oil and filter have been changed. Naively, I didn't pay attention to the oil change sticker date, until my mechanic asked me when the oil change was done because there was no sticker on the windshield with the last service date. It was no where in the paperwork, had to specifically request service department to give me printout for the date, which was much older then the few days prior to our pick up (couple of months). Also, car only came with one single key, so that's another $400-500 to get a spare key.... More
