** Yesterday was so terrifying. I had such a life altering experience that will forever change how I view “services rendered” I LITERALLY ALMOST DIED YESTERDAY! Yes you read that co I had such a life altering experience that will forever change how I view “services rendered” I LITERALLY ALMOST DIED YESTERDAY! Yes you read that correctly, I was going 80mph (speed limit was 70). On I90 eastbound when I heard a horrible noise thought ok something is wrong but the car 🚗 seemed fine to keep driving. Traffic started to slow and get congested, I attempted to stop and the brake pedal went all the way to the floor (something that I have never felt and it took the life out of me and induced the kind of panic that I felt was death right before my very eyes). I couldn’t get over all the cars where whizzing by me, with one lady pulling next to me at one with all these hand gestures and I’m screaming finally put on hazards and called ppl speed dial when no answer I finally called 911 and said I’m going to die my car won’t stop, as I’m praying and thanking Jesus ℹ luckily was able to swerve and stay in the middle of traffic causing a huge stir that someone else had called 911 as well. As i am on with the operator I was able to get off at RT 44 where my car spun in a circle facing the oncoming traffic and at that moment i just closed my eyes and knew it was over. REWIND, last week I took my car to KEN GANLEY KIA IN MENTOR for drill brakes and rotors all the way around, Red flag 🚩 1, was told a price which changed when I got the the shop, ok never mind that. Red flag 🚩 2 credit card fee was astronomic wasn’t informed until I was ready to pay. Secondly after almost losing my life the I was told by the tow truck and ultimately the dealership the tech forgot to put my bolts back in. Simply was like “wow sorry that happened to you it was a simple human error” I was fuming and crying so hysterically that I couldn’t do anything else the rest of the day but count my blessings. It’s still so heavy on my heart ♥️ that you almost took my life and it’s well it’s just human error. Absolutely not, what about the buddy system check but double check or test driving to make sure you trust your work. Tomorrow isn’t promised hug on those you love because I will never forget this is the work of God it simply was not my time. I am still just stuck mentally with this situation. It won’t stop here my one request was to speak To the technician face to face, not to yell or scream but to let him feel the gravity of what happened so that it doesn’t happen to Someone else's family. Of course that wasn’t granted. I am going to scream from the top of my lungs to everyone who will listen about this situation it shouldn't happened to me, it should have never happened period. Hi there it’s me again. Let me start with just saying my vehicle is the 2018 Kia Sorento bought from mentor Kia and my wife’s vehicle is the 2020 Kia Sorento bought from men Let me start with just saying my vehicle is the 2018 Kia Sorento bought from mentor Kia and my wife’s vehicle is the 2020 Kia Sorento bought from mentor Kia. You heard my story yesterday, this is hers. Last October of 2024 there was a noise coming from the steering wheel and she made an appointment to have it checked. She took it to Ken Ganley Mentor Kia. They told her they had to order a part from the factory. She took it back in November and that didn’t fix the problem. They told her they had to order another part. Here it is now March of 2025 and they told her the part came in and made another appointment to have it installed. When she took it in the part wasn’t there and that they would order another one. Now it is April and she received a call the part is in and they made the appointment for today April 19th first thing this morning to have it installed. She arrived when they opened this morning and they told her sorry we don’t do that kind of work on Saturdays, they only do oil changes on Saturdays. They asked her when she could come back in and she told them she would be back first thing Monday morning April 21st. They told her even though you don’t have a appointment for Monday that would be fine and they will get it fixed. What kind of service department is this? A very terrible one if you ask me. We are 2 customers you will not ever see again once these services get fixed. More
I had a 11:15 service appointment today. Arrived at 8:30 to drop off vehicle. The Bay Area had 4 cars in line. The door was closed and there were 3 cars in front of me. I sat in my vehicle until a service person made room in the bay area and pulled in the 3 vehicles in front of me. I pulled up to the door and was asked to leave to make room for the 4 vehicles behind me that he said were ahead of me. Once they take care of my recalled part for my 2018 Kia Sorento I will never go back to Ken Ganley Mentor Kia again. THAT WAS JUST PLAIN RUDE!!! More
