BUYER BEWARE: Ken Ganley Subaru in Wickliffe, Ohio My experience with this dealership has been nothing short of a nightmare. Sharing this as a warning to anyone considering buying a vehicle from them. I experience with this dealership has been nothing short of a nightmare. Sharing this as a warning to anyone considering buying a vehicle from them. I live in California and recently purchased a used 2013 Suzuki Kizashi Sport SLS, 56k miles, relying on their assurances that it was in "good running condition." They listed the vehicle at the highest value. I managed to negotiate a deal for them to fix a dent on the bumper, but only if I agreed to pay their inflated asking price. Little did I know, this would be the start of many problems. In just 10 days, I've encountered a slew of issues. On the very first day of receiving the vehicle, I discovered that the driver seat was defective and would not move forward or backward. This vehicle was a gift for my wife, and she had to use pillows to prop herself forward just to reach the pedals. Additionally, within 20 minutes of driving, the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) service indicator light began flashing on the dashboard, and it quickly became apparent that severe suspension issues plagued the vehicle. The ride was very rough and I could feel every dip and bump on the road, and since I couldn’t test drive the car, I took their word that it had been thoroughly inspected. When I contacted the service advisor, he feigned ignorance about the problems with the vehicle. As the days went on, more warning lights appeared for the airbag and seatbelt sensors, and I noticed disturbing electrical sounds from the dashboard and loud noises from the rear. So far, I’ve spent $400 to address the TPMS sensors and $900 to replace the shocks, yet I am still grappling with ongoing suspension issues and electrical problems that continue to riddle the car, leading to additional rising costs. I again contacted the dealership providing videos as evidence, and receipts of our repairs, and it was escalated to management. Ultimately, I was told that there was nothing they could do, citing that all sales are final and no refunds. To make matters worse, while driving at night we found the headlights aren't working and are very dim, and a new whining noise has developed. We have scheduled a full diagnostic to uncover all the issues plaguing the vehicle. After only 10 days and multiple trips to the repair shop, I am left with a car that is unsafe to drive and continues to degrade in quality. Ken Ganley Subaru has refused to take responsibility, hiding behind the "as is" clause in the sale despite clear evidence of deception. They are selling UNSAFE vehicles without disclosing significant pre-existing issues! Their disregard for customer safety is appalling and aligns with a pattern of similar complaints from other customers we have found on review sites. We are currently in the process of filing complaints with the BBB and other consumer protection agencies. I strongly urge potential buyers to think twice before purchasing from Ken Ganley Subaru in Wickliffe, Ohio. Their deceptive practices and lack of concern for customer safety are blatant. Be sure to check their reviews on the Better Business Bureau, Yelp, and Google Reviews. You will see I am not alone in my frustrations. Protect yourself—don't fall for their false assurances! More
