Secondly, the finance assistant manager if that's even a legitimate title, was a dishonest and unprofessional jerk. The sales guy "Cash" has no idea what he's doing. Both these men lied in every way to sell a truck. They destroyed my fathers credit. These guys know how to screw people bad. Do not go near this place!! You've been warned. Never buy a truck from them. You'll regret it. Do your homework before you think to work with Chris Franks, Tysen Ivie, or the strange guy "Cash". They're all dishonest to the bone. Go to Tim Dhale Ford. They have ex Ken Garff employees that will tell ya the reason they left was dishonest and manipulative practices by Tysen and guys like Cash. Larry H Miller even has honest employees. I make it known to everyone I talk to that Ken Garff Ford is the most dishonest, sleazy dealership in Utah. They have that reputation for a reason. I should've listened to the warning. They lost a lot of customers in their bad business practices. My father in law purchases 4-5 trucks from them every 3 years and he's now sworn them off. My family members all used to shop there. They now turn elsewhere as well. If that's not bad word of mouth, then I don't know what is!!! And sadly Ken Garff doesn't care one bit. They are scummy sleazy folks and should be shut down permanently More
Friendly, hospitable I liked the way they listened to what I had to say, and prioritised it. Friendly staff, felt comfortable around them. They were also negotiable. Great sales person, lousy service. Terry the sales guy is awesome, but even now several weeks after the fact. We are still waiting for a call to get the Mastercode reset, that he passed on. We bought used and the previous code is unknown. Also waiting for a call to schedule a trailer brake control unit as part of the purchase, waiting on that one too. Perhaps they will be done together but it has now been two weeks and I have been off work all week so would have been the perfect week to be able to take it over. I go back to work next week and it will likely be several more weeks before I'll be able to take it over. So at this point I still haven't heard anything but even so they missed the boat and it will be more than a month before it actually gets done. I have called several times leaving messages. They did try to call once when my mobile phone was dead. But it was only with Terry harassing them. The loan guy was great, but he did say we could go over options on payments based on down payment amounts and never did present us with those choices but overall he was good. I'll rate 3 stars, even though I will not buy another vehicle here due to the lack of follow up after the sale. More

I do not know these folks personally so everything in this review is s This review is in no way a reflection of the stated people on a personal basis. I do not know these folks personally so everything in this review is solely from a dealer/buyer perspective. I had done my due diligence and printed off the information on a truck (F150) that I was interested in, one that had been on the lot for some time. The truck I was most interested in showed 5 miles on the odometer. I hunted down a salesperson, Greg Huff, and he, my brother and I took the truck for a test drive. The truck's interior was absolutely trashed with mud and dirt and I noticed that the truck had over 2200 miles on it. When asked, Greg said it was a "loaner car for service customers). Other than I was surprised that a dealership would keep a vehicle on it's lot in that condition, I didn't care about how the mileage. After the drive, we sat down to discuss numbers. We came to a number, I initialed the quote and Greg went to talk to his boss. They came back $500 over the initialed quote so we left the dealership. The next business day, Greg called and gave me both the quoted price that I initially asked for and an "out the door" price. I asked him to email me the quote, which he did. I then told Greg I was interested in the truck and that I would start the process of selling my vehicle and get financing. During the next few days, Greg, his boss Terry and I talked several times to discuss normal car buying stuff. Two days later, I sold my car and called Greg to tell him that I would be over shortly to pick up the truck and I asked him if he could have the interior spruced up. During that conversation, he asked if he could get the financing paperwork started. I reminded him that I went through my personal credit union and he responded that if I wanted the price he promised me, I would have to go through Ford Financing. I reminded Greg that at no time whatsoever during the past 10 days of near constant communication had he said anything about the price being predicated on my financing through Ford. There was absolutely no conversation implied or otherwise about the price being anything other than the "out the door" price. Greg then stated "my bad" with not even a hint of apology. I told him that this was bait and switch in which he reminded me of the great deal I was getting on the truck. I reminded him that the price was because the truck had so many miles from it being a loaner vehicle. So, as to add to the frustration, Greg goes into full used car salesman mode and whispers to me that he shouldn't be telling me that the dealer didn't know how all the miles on the truck got there and that the truck had "disappeared" off the lot for an unknown amount of time. After hearing all this, I told him that I needed some time to clear my head and digest this new shady angle that he had thrown at me. A hour later, Greg called me and said the truck had been sold. So here the rub: -The truck was misrepresented and incorrectly advertised due to the mileage being off by over 2100 miles. - The dealership, though it's salesman never mentioned that the price was predicated on any kind of terms whatsoever. Bait and Switch. -The salesman waited until I sold my vehicle (leaving me in a position of having to buy the truck) until he let me know that the price would be predicated on financing. -After being caught in several lies, the dealer and the dealership conspired to "sell" a truck that had been on the lot for over a month, had miraculously been sold right when the xxxx was hitting the fan in order to save face. I wrote a professional email to the GM, Chris Franks, and outlined the problems and deceptive practices being used by his employees. I did not hear from Chris. I did however hear back from another salesman who offered no help other than trying to get me to buy another truck from him. My overall experience with the salesman was 1 out of 5 stars. Greg did nothing to show me he wanted my business or that my business was important to him. He put very little effort into his job. He was slick and seemed well versed in the used car salesman tricks. I would advise anyone who deals with this dealer and dealership to go somewhere else or at the very least, have your guard up and don't let them take advantage of you like they did to me. Make them earn your business. I had bought from Ken Garff Honda in Orem several times, all of which were fantastic experiences. Its too bad that it doesn't seem to run in the family.
