Took my truck in for a problem with the onboard gps. Specifically chose this dealer because this is a GMC Canyon and thought the dealer would be the expert in fixing this issue. They called me after a Specifically chose this dealer because this is a GMC Canyon and thought the dealer would be the expert in fixing this issue. They called me after a day or two saying it was all done and that there was nothing wrong other than that I needed to have onstar to make the system function . Completely false - onstar has nothing to do with the onboard self contained navigation system. After telling them that they went back to troubleshooting and eventually got things fixed after 2 +weeks of having my truck with no loaner offered and several parts installed that didn’t fix the issue. When I picked up the truck finally I asked which part it was they replaced - they simply read the repair order and when I asked what the part actually was no including mechanic - could tell me. Very disappointing to go to the expert and have to help them figure out what to do. I had to call several times to get updates on the cars status as well. More
