We just purchased a new CR-V from Sean Ackroyd at Garff Downtown in Salt Lake City, and our experience was exceptional. We first met Sean late one evening at the dealership when casually shopping. He was friendly, genuine, and capable, and seemed happy to spend the time "tire kicking" with us, even though it was at or just after closing time. We then contacted Sean again via phone for additional details and visited the dealership again as he helped us further in narrowing our choices. In the meantime, we visited other dealers, who eventually disappointed us greatly--they were less than honest, less than caring, and less than helpful. Sean, in welcome contrast, was always warm and open. Most important for us, he was absolutely honest and comfortably competent. He demonstrated in many ways that he wanted us to be happy and successful. He went the extra mile to provide information and service. He even helped us with color choices by parking the two options side by side. His product knowledge was superb. He was able to clearly differentiate the CR-V from the competition. I had been to many lots looking for a good used car when my old and faithful little red car was finally on its last legs after 18 years together. My family has bought many cars from the Ken Garff lots over the last 20 years, and I have always had a good experience. Finally the 2009 blue Honda Accord caught my eye and Ernie Hasna was very patient with me, allowing me to come back several times and spend some time with it before I made a final decision. There was no playing fast and loose, the price was the price, and there was no hard sell. Everything I asked, Ernie was there to make the process smooth for me. When I finally made a decision, Ernie was with another customer, so Eddie Jeppson stepped in and helped me finalize the paperwork and wait for the financing. He was very friendly and I was really impressed that they would work together as a team helping each other out. It was fun to hang out and everyone I met at the lot was very friendly, real and nice to me. Thanks for making a long day a lot more fun that it could have been. Good work! I will definitely be buying my next car from Ken Garff, hopefully at least 18 years from now. :) More
