It was the worst car buying experience of my life. I’m surprised I actually bought the car there, but I really loved the car. My sales rep Mike was a good guy. They said one thing as I left the previous day, then when I came back, suddenly the deal was thousands more than I was led to believe. Horrible. Then, there was confusion as to the trim level of my Ioniq 5. I test drove sel, and clearly communicated I wanted the specific car we test drove. The paper work said SE. I had to walk out to the car twice to prove it. Then, they sent me off with a 30% charged battery, and no cable to charge the car. Unbelievable!!! “Don’t worry,” they said…”you have a free membership to electrify America, just sign up with the code.” Well, 3 days later, the code STILL is invalid. The electrify America support is doing an investigation to see if the vin number was stolen, a common occurance at Hyundai, they said. Now that I finally have the electrify america account, 75% of their chargers in south miami are broken, and there is usually a line of 4 or 5 cars waiting to charge (which will take 2 or 3 hours). Really? And you don't send customers home with at least a level 1 charger. Horrible. You guys better do something to make this right. I expect a call from corporate and the general manager of Hyundai Kendall. More

I'm writing this review to let people know they need to inspect their vehicle before they leave the dealer or immediately after leaving the dealer, Mechanics are not completing their job and are cutting co inspect their vehicle before they leave the dealer or immediately after leaving the dealer, Mechanics are not completing their job and are cutting corners. in contrast the service advisors were excellent, please read below My vehicle had an engine breakdown and was covered under a manufacturer warranty, I took my car to get inspected on July 16 and finally got a loaner once all the inspections required were completed, I waited a month for them to complete the work but its understandable because the engine needed to be replaced, I was called back on August 16 when the vehicle was ready, I went to pick up my car the next day and after dropping off the loaner and signing all the paperwork I left the dealer, since they did an engine replacement I got home and immediately decided to inspect the car and double-check the job perform, I'm glad that I did that and that I have the knowledge to do it myself, the mechanic did not do a good job, a lot of corners were cut and even some parts were missing, to begin, the fuel rail cover under the intake manifold was not replaced, the ground wire the goes to the engine was not attached, the clamps for the vacuum hose were not placed on one side and misplaced on the other, the intake hose that connect to the airbox was not clamped and not attached properly, unfiltered air was able to get thru, I found the clamp on a corner of the engine bay, the radiator hose clamp was not placed properly and was leaking water. I had mentioned before that I'm able to inspect my car and know when something is wrong but my frustrations come from the fact that customers take their vehicles to a dealer because of trust, the dealer should know how to work on the vehicle, if I have to take my car to another shop to get inspected after leaving the dealer then why spend the extra money on dealer maintenance then.
