Loving My New Sonata Excited about my recent purchase. My experience with the salesman was both professional and delightful. Promises not kept Let me start by saying my first go around with Key 2 years ago was a good experience. Now fast forward to Friday 7/28/17 when I get a call from Dan pr Let me start by saying my first go around with Key 2 years ago was a good experience. Now fast forward to Friday 7/28/17 when I get a call from Dan promising to get me into a new car with lower payments and interest. I explained to him that we just bought a house and my score has gone down a bit because of that. He assured me it was fine and insisted that I come to the dealership and fill out the papers. I go there on 7/29/17 fill out what they wanted me to and was sent on my way to get lunch and told to call in a bit. I called and Dan said he was working on something and needed until Monday to get it worked out. Monday came and I called he dealer around 2pm and Dan told me he needed a bit more time that he would call me by end of day. Fast forward again to 7:40pm on Monday night. I didn't hear anything back so I called again. Dan rushed me off the phone telling me that he was with 2 customers and he would call me right back. Guess what NO CALL!! I proceeded on Tuesday to email Jill about the problems at her dealership and received a response from one of her assistants stating that she was looking into this and forwarding it to the proper people. I immediately got an email from Scott at the dealer wanting me to call him. I called him and he wanted to make this right. So I told him what I wanted and he informed me that he would have to run my credit. Wait what?!?! Dan never ran my credit all this time he was working on a deal for me!!! Not a good look for a dealer promising the world to people. Scott did work hard on this came back with some numbers but then proceeded to tell me they needed $3000 down. No Way!!! Your guy made promises and now you all can't fix it. Not really a "Dealer for the People" in my eyes. Krista the executive assistant to Jill Merriam contacted me back this after 8/3/17 and stated that she spoke with the management team and that the bank is requiring the $3000 down and that she is sorry for all my aggravation but if I'm not willing to pay that then they can't help me. Really?!? Not going to offer a co-signer? Not going to work the numbers to make it look like the $3000 was put down? It has all been done before by other dealers and was offered to me by another dealer. Let's not forget how Scott basically called me a liar and challenged me by telling me he didn't see that my report was pulled by another dealer when I told him I had another offer. Well he should have looked closer because it was pulled and I did have another offer before Key made me wait and the other dealer pulled the offer because they had another interest. I also had a couple family members waiting to see what deals Key came up with because they are in the market for a new car and Dan knew that because I brought one with me Saturday when he asked me to come in. Never even gave her the time of day. Guess they won't only be losing my business but they will be losing others too! More

He's knowledgeable and experienced in his job, he's laid back but maintains his professional demeanor, and overall a pleasant man to be in the presence of. I would recommend him to everybody and anybody. Let me not forget to mention, he sent me on my way in THE EXACT car i had in mind when i walked in. If i can give more than five stars, i would. More
