Key Scales Ford responded

I pulled the file on your parents. The first contact with a sales person here was on 4-13-11. The transaction took place on 4-20-11. A full week later. I can't imagine anyone being rushed or persuaded to make a car purchase that took a week to complete. As stated prior, I have not been notified that you or your parents wished to speak with me. If they are unhappy with the fusion they have I would be happy to look at purchasing it from them or trading them into another automobile. I have done more research about the concern you made concerning our selling your parents a vehicle that was said to be unable to flat tow, "even by Ford". I have a tow guide prepared by Ford Motor Company that lists the fusion as being "four -wheel down" towing capable as well as a ford technical service bulletin that speaks to the very subject as well. I assure that Ford Motor company would not have replaced the transmission under warranty for your parents had the vehicle not been rated to flat tow. I can’t speak as to why the repairing ford dealer informed your parents or you that "we should have known better", perhaps they simply were wrong. I am un able to attach the documents through this email service (dealer rater.com) so I will send it regular email to you, I will also send via regular mail copies to your parents with a copy of this email. I was hoping to speak with you today as you stated you were going to call, I only stepped out for a few moments but never received a message you had called.
