I took my car in 6/25/24 for 2 recalls and a vibration in the front end also a ripple over the passengers front door. Was told by Cody after 2 hours and my car being set outside for me that I needed to have the front end also a ripple over the passengers front door. Was told by Cody after 2 hours and my car being set outside for me that I needed to have front breaks and rotors resurfaced and that I needed an alignment. After he told me all of this the total was $600. or so I did tell him I would go elsewhere due to the fact it was already out of the bay so they had no intention of actually doing the work. The rotors were replaced at 20k as a warranty because they were warped so bad all work done at Kia Autosport Pensacola. They only lasted 20k miles seems low on miles to be warped again. The ripple over the door is a factory defect as per Cody and I would need to take it to a body shop but it would not be covered I would be responsible for paying for it. The only reason we continue to use Kia Autosport was for the service and because of Neil Patel, but I guess we do not receive the same service now. Might as well us Step One in FWB. More

Car originally purchased out of state. Took it to Kia for warranty work. Car returned with damage caused by the shop’s incompetence. No one will return calls. When calling, I get transferr Took it to Kia for warranty work. Car returned with damage caused by the shop’s incompetence. No one will return calls. When calling, I get transferred to voicemails that do not identify the message recipient so the dealership claims they never received the call or blame the company responsible for their phone system. Returned car for repair only to receive car back with additional damages the dealership is now unwilling to repair in total because of the “extra work” done to make up for the original damage caused by their shop. Absolute horrible customer service! More
I've had interactions with both sales and service here and I find them to be straightforward and honest. Sales and service were both clear on what was expected, what I was getting, and what is considered and I find them to be straightforward and honest. Sales and service were both clear on what was expected, what I was getting, and what is considered usual service and terms of agreement. The amenities are not huge for waiting at this location, but that might be the only downside. More
In January 2024, my 2017 KIA Rio was the target of an attempted theft which severely damaged the ignition and door locks. I quickly find out that multiple cities and states are reporting a surge in KIA attempted theft which severely damaged the ignition and door locks. I quickly find out that multiple cities and states are reporting a surge in KIA thefts, beginning in 2020. Summer of 2023 - KIA sends letters to Rio owners advising them of a greater risk of theft as the result of thieves utilizing a USB drive as shown in videos posted on various social media sites. My vehicle is 2017 model and this letter/recall did not apply to models made after 2015. However, the risk of attempted break-in damage is extremely high as the would-be thieves do not know the difference in year models. At KIA Autosport of Pensacola I find out that... A.) KIA is aware of the potential for damage as part of continued attempted thefts. KIA is emphatic that they are not responsible for any loss or damage as result of viral internet videos which depict the ease with which KIA vehicles can be stolen. B.) Numerous cities and states have seen an explosion of KIA vehicles being stolen, destroyed and dumped. This is the result of immobilization software not being installed in these vehicles. C.) Currently, several auto insurers will no longer insure these vehicles. Even if your vehicle is found, the possibility of continued attempted theft is a reality, eventually making this vehicle uninsurable and by extension, unsaleable. D.) Law enforcement in numerous cities (Houston, Atlanta, Memphis, Seattle, Columbus and Milwaukee) have issued warnings to KIA owners, even going so far as to tell KIA owners to not leave their vehicle parked for more than 5 minutes, even at home, they recommend you park it in your garage. E.) Voicing my concerns with Hayes about the very real possibility of another break-in as well as owning possibly an uninsurable and unsaleable vehicle, the conversation went like this... Me: "Why isn't KIA owning this? My car is going to be worthless and uninsurable, did you know that in some places insurance companies are no longer going to insure them?" Hayes: "Ma'am, that's not true, KIAs are sold everyday and there's nothing you can tell me about this that I don't already know, there's nothing else we can do for you, your vehicle is being repaired and you can pick it up next week." Me: "Yes, but KIA needs to be more forthcoming about this, people need to know, this is serious." Hayes: "Ma'am we're going in circles here, we're fixing your vehicle, that's about all we can do for you." Well, clearly there is a lot of about this that Hayes doesn't know. I asked why the dealership had not notified me, his answer was "that's for corporate to do, not us." When I asked why the dealership could not be more forthcoming with this information, since they're frequently sending me coupons for oil changes and actually calling me every few months to see if I want to trade in my car. Hayes told me, "Look ma'am, we're just a dealership, we just do what corporate tells us." KIA Autosport loves you when you're a buyer, but that's it. I noticed that most of the 5 star reviews were from people who had just bought their vehicles, that's why I say, just wait, you'll see. More
The worst service after sale. The service is not operated by Kia. They don’t give a crap. I will never Purchase another vehicle there. And advise you to do the same. Takes 2 month The service is not operated by Kia. They don’t give a crap. I will never Purchase another vehicle there. And advise you to do the same. Takes 2 months to get an appointment and 4 hours to change the oil. Disgusting customer service. Ultimately, the service mgr. is responsible. They hide the dealership ownership. More
Let me tell you a story about Walter. As a Service Manager, he's woefully inadequate. I had tried to explain the warranty package I purchased and how in plain language it met my needs, on As a Service Manager, he's woefully inadequate. I had tried to explain the warranty package I purchased and how in plain language it met my needs, only for him to give ME the number for Kia's Warranty Dept, essentially doing his job for him. The Warranty Dept thought it was silly that this was even a conversation, as it was very clear my issue was covered. Now, as I endeavor to pass that info back to Walter, he's ducking my calls. Awesome, Walt. Thanks for your service. Oh! I forgot to mention the other part he's fixing for me, that I JUST changed. He claims because it's not OEM that it won't work...I'm not an electrical engineer, but I understand how a two-signal sensor works. He's charging me another $100 to replace a good part that will require me to come right back next week. Walt, you're a treasure... More
