Dealership still owes me a $10K check after more than two weeks from my trade in. Sales person sent me a text with the most creatively wrong spelling of my name I have ever seen. And the entire time, the fin weeks from my trade in. Sales person sent me a text with the most creatively wrong spelling of my name I have ever seen. And the entire time, the finance guy was constantly lying to me with his cheshire grin, "I'm on your side here." It's patronizing. I know nobody in the dealership is on my side, that's not how dealerships work. His job is to make as much profit for the business as possible, not help me get a good deal. He wants me to think I got a good deal. The perfidy of dropping these silly phrases like, "I'm on your side" is a turn off. It's a lie, you know it's a lie, and it's unnecessary. More
