I visited Kia with a new purchase and came in for three recalls. Recalls were taken care of. However I purchase a headlight and there was apparently wiring disconnected from my vehicle. I was not notified of this nor was it written down in the write up of my first visit. I visited Kia this past Wednesday (to resolve non-working headlight) with an appointment and waited three hours for someone to tell me about wiring/a need for diagnostics report. Beyond that, a week later I went to see a mechanic and they found that the NEW headlight installed by Kia was broken. So I 1. paid for a headlight that wasn’t connected and 2. literally broke within a few days? I find this very frustrating. Why didn’t someone tell me about this beforehand? Why was the wiring ignored? Besides that, waiting for so long to be seen is absolutely inconsiderate of people’s time. Please consider adjusting appointment times if there is a lack of staff/technicians. I personally will not consider going back to Kia for anything. More
Had hard time getting in touch with anyone on serval attempts finally did service man tried to help but promises were broken car returned to me dirty was promised to be cleaned didn’t want to accept a c attempts finally did service man tried to help but promises were broken car returned to me dirty was promised to be cleaned didn’t want to accept a cashier check from a bank this is a business in America that takes Cashier checks I felt this business was shady thou they tried to be helpful they failed my car was there for over a month at one point the service dealer told me he didn’t know where my car was !! After I had it towed there I will never deal with this Kia service department again More
