Scam artists A month ago I took my 2013 Optima in for service and to have the parking lights fixed. The parking lights were out on both sides. After having 2 different service department employees also check to verify that the lights were infact still inoperable...the mechanic changed the bulbs. One month later I am in the service depatment again...the right side headlight is out...according to KIA I was in a car accident or something....I had someone else work on the car....and of course my extended warranty covers nothing....KIA of Carson will rip you off if you let them More

Longest oil change of my life Not many good things to say. I had an 8:30 AM appointment this morning. I arrived at 8:15 AM and had to wait in my car for 30 mins. They finally took my car at 8:45 AM and they've been changing the oil for an hour and 15 mins now. The service advisor checked with me to see if I wanted a car wash. I declined. Not sure what the hold up is. Most places can do an oil and filter change in 30-45 mins. More

The worst experience ever! First they sold me a Demo car as new. I was so stressed out because my 15 year old car had to go and I needed a car ASAP, I ended up buying a car with First they sold me a Demo car as new. In my paper work it says 8 miles that was of course a lie and I only drive the car from the dealer to my home and some how I had already 75 miles on my car! I had a recall on my car and I only found out months after when I had to go for the first inspection, not a phone call or a letter. Now I have another recall I had an app but when I got there there were more then 20 cars in front of me. They do not respect your time or honor anything they do or say. I could not stay because if I made an app obviously I had something else important to do. Now I am trying to make another app., I am calling all dealers and none of them can make an app. They told me that they cannot do anything about it and I can just drop the car and be there waiting for as long as it is necessary and they don't care if you can do it or not, I have no one free to give me a ride even and I cannot miss work. I terrible regret buying a car from Kia, do yourself a favor and get away from them! If you are trying to save some money you will get lots of stress! More

I went into the delalership two days before thanksging and was ready to buy or lease a car right t Worst experience I've ever had at a car dealership. I went into the delalership two days before thanksging and was ready to buy or lease a car right then. First of all, the salesperson literally ran towards me as soon as I drove onto the lot. (I think his name was Sanjay) Before showing me the car I came it to test drive, he forced me inside to fill out paperwork to see if I qualified for "a great Black Friday offer we will honor before Black Friday" I went ahead and explained to him that I was definitely goinh to buy a car in the next two days and explained my situation and need for the car before thanksgiving, and he said great, we will be able to offer you a great deal today! He then brought me outside and showed me the optima , even though I told him I was in the market for an suv. He then reluctantly took me over to a sportage and when I asked him questions about the car he said he didn't know & that he was a optima specialist. From there I told him what options I needed in the car, leather seats, navigation... Etc and he said "you won't be able to afford that in the monthly payment you're looking for" And I simply said "fine, I already have an offer at Volkswagen, I'll just go there and get the deal they offered me that suits my needs" He then said "you need to be careful because they aren't honest at other dealerships" and went on to explain why they were so great. At that point I was extremely annoyed and said I was leaving to go to VW since they couldn't accommodate me and meet my needs. He then asked me to come in and speak to the manager... I repeated my needs and desires to the manager (josh) and he went and ran my info, still before I even test drove the car! The original sales person came back and told me to come back on Friday because they would have a better offer for me that day. I reiterated the fact that I wanted to buy a car BEFORE thanksgiving and I wasn't interested in car shopping on Black Friday. He then told me to come in on thanksgiving and I laughed at how rude and pushy that was. I asked him to show me the offer for that day, and he refused and said "come back Friday and bring your dad" and I said why would I bring my dad? And he replied his credit can give you a better deal." ... Never did I say I wanted a co-signer and I didn't need one at any other dealership. Anyhow, I asked to speak with the manager again because this guy was clearly not doing his job & he came back and said the manager suddenly went into a meeting. I left super mad and decided to call and try to speak with the manager ... I got hung up on. I called back and spoke to another manager who told me he was going to handle everything and get back to me... Today is Saturday, I still haven't heard back from them. Besides the poor customer service, or lack there of, this place felt like a high school cafeteria... It was noisy, and dirty, there were salespeople running around chaotically. I wouldn't go back there even if they were giving away cars. I ended up down the road at a different dealership, purchased a much nicer, 2016 luxury vehicle with the same monthly budget I gave to Kia, and this dealership met and exceeded my expectations. This place is a JOKE! Stay away at all costs... Sketchy sales people, & management ! More
