My husband and I expressed interest in a new Sorento and drove over 500 miles to test drive the vehicle and ultimately purchase it. The car itself is wonderful and I have no complaints. Our salesman, Wesam, was helpful and had good knowledge about the vehicle itself. Honestly, this is where the good ends. We had to deal with Caleb Z. in management for the trade-in and things just weren't clear. Then we dealt with Levi S. in financing and he is where we had major issues. I agreed to pay an additional amount down on top of the trade-in and this was never collected. Then it took them over 2 weeks to reach out. Should I have realized this yes, but once we left, it was completely off my mind. When they finally reached out they claimed to have made phone calls to my husband and myself, but we didn't have missed calls or voicemails. Everything was settled with this and I submitted my additional down payment. I purchased the vehicle on 9/10/22 and received a letter dated 11/2/22 from the Illinois Dept of Revenue that the taxes are my vehicles were paid 6 days late and now I owe a late fee. I will be paying this to avoid any action being taken against me, however, I fully expect the dealership to cover this. Shortly after receiving this letter, I also received a check from the dealership for $1,675 because they overcharged me on the taxes. The whole point here is that the finance guy, Levi, has no idea what he's doing and is causing me to waste my time and money to fix his issues. I fully expect a phone call from the dealership to rectify this. More

Bought a vehicle from KIA with an extended warranty. There’s a recall on engine! The dealership also left out details about the vehicle prior to the sale. I recently bought a 2022 Kia Soul from Kia of Columbia. The first phone call where I expressed interest in a Soul they had on the lot was good, but after that the pressure started. The finance person was easy to work with, but was able to add THREE service contracts onto my sales contract without EVER saying the words "Service Contract" OR stating the prices!!! But sure enough I signed them. $6,646 later, I'm now working to cancel them, not an easy endeavor. It was largely my own fault for not questioning the numbers during the paperwork, but I think the dealership should be up-front about what they're selling you! I purchased another Soul just a year ago at another Kia dealership (that car was totalled by someone slamming into the back of me on Hwy. 70) and they did not do that to me. No high pressure and they ASKED me if I would be interested in an extended warranty or service contract and stated the price!! Beware of Service Contracts dealers ADD ON! I'm mad at myself for letting them do this to me, but more mad at them for not being up-front in their "selling" of these Service Contracts!! I can't be the only one. ? 4/29/2022 - I have been in contact with Kia of Columbia, and they are working to cancel my service contracts. Thank you Levi, Zac, and Bill L. I was very upset about the situation but I feel confident now that this will be resolved. More
This is the second vehicle we have purchased through Kia of Columbia and Novy. Novy is a wonderful sales associate and really does his best to be on your side. Finance did not beat us up too badly and was very fair with their pricing and offerings. Their car pricing is so competitive that I didn't need to go in and negotiate for 6 hours to get the best deal, they already had it! I would recommend my friends and most importantly, my family, to Novy and the Kia of Columbia family. More
I have a 2015 Kia Sportage bought it new. It started burning oil which it is still under warranty. Went through the whole oil consumption tests and then they told me it was fine. Needless to say it is n burning oil which it is still under warranty. Went through the whole oil consumption tests and then they told me it was fine. Needless to say it is not fine, still burning oil. Took it back and they told me that it is normal to burn a half quart within a 1000 miles. I have talked to many mechanics and that is not normal. I highly recommend not to buy a Kia and not to deal with Kia of Columbia. More
