Erik, the service manager was not good to deal with. After replacing the engine, the newly replaced serpentine belt failed, leaving us stranded on a 100° day. I could see what looked like teeth marks on the alternator pulley. Erik treated us both like we were idiots. He does not allow you to even speak when on the phone, he just continually talks over you. While on the phone I had a revelation that the teeth marks actually looked like the marks of a bolt that got lodged under the belt. He did not want to entertain this at all. He was solely focused on escaping any liability. Concerned for the safety of our vehicle that they had just worked on, I investigated and found the alternator bolt missing. After sending him a picture, Erik quickly changed his tone and agreed to fix their poor quality workmanship under warranty. Clearly, customer service is not his strength. Erik assumes that anyone he talks to has no clue what they are talking about and that he is the know-all be-all in the situation. Very disappointing interaction. I would not recommend Kia of Everett. More
