I recently bought a Kia Sorento out of state before moving to NC. I had a few problems with it and issues getting an honest answer from other Kia locations. Once I moved to NC my neighbor referred me to Kia of Gastonia. Once I got there I was greeted by Morris the service manager. Morris was legitimately concerned about the issues I had been having and assured me he would personally ensure my vehicle was taken care of. Turns out I had an electrical short from a wire that was worn down and it took them some effort to find it. After my vehicle was serviced by Morris and his team, I have had no problems. Those guys are highly professional and they truly care. As long as I have this vehicle I will continue taking it to Kia of Gastonia because I know it will be done right and I won't get the run around like I seemed to get at other dealerships where I didn't actually purchase the vehicle. If you live in the area I urge you to go see Morris and his team because they are first class!

This dealership is the best experience I have ever had the please of dealing with. The service dept. is outstanding! Mark, Rachel, Angie and Morris are the people I felt with. Always smiling and go the extra mile to insure patient satisfaction. I would recommend this place ro ANYONE! If you like quality, curious, promt, car care, this is the place to go!

The key on my finances Kia soul broke. It was under warranty and I went to Kia Gastonia. Could not have had a better experience. Was in and out in 30 minutes. I would recommend Doug Grimm and Kia Gastonia to anyone needing service.

"Not happy!!"

Took my 2010 rio to be inspected and they failed it because they said it had cracks in the power steering belt. Called the dmv inspector and had him look at it and he said it was fine. He sent us back to Kia of Gastonia and again failed it! They then called the dmv inspector to come down just to tell him they weren't going to pass it! What it amounted to they wanted is to spend $150 for a belt I didn't need! I will never takes car back nor will I shop there again!!

We're sorry that you had a less than positive experience with our Service Department. As a State of North Carolina Inspection Station, we are governed by very specific rules and regulations. In the North Carolina Administrative Code 19A 03D Section .0500 subsection .0535 (Steering Mechanism), line 4 states that the steering mechanism will not be approved if the "Power steering system shows visible leaks or the power steering belt is loose or worn". The power steering belt on your vehicle had severe cracking, an obvious sign of wear. Further, the DMV inspector on-site agreed with our findings. We value your business and hate to lose you as a customer. However, we take our role as a State inspection station very seriously and make our best effort to abide by their guidelines on each and every inspection.

Went to have my 08 Rio serviced. Walking the lot looking at the new ones. While I was waiting I approached Mr. Autry about a 13 Rio. He walked me through giving me a answer for every crazy question I had with a smile on his face. Which doesn't happen very often may I add. Didn't try to push me into buying which was a big relief hate when dealers get pushy. Just a very pleasant young man. Good doing business with Kia and Mr. Autry one of the many faces of Kia. First of all all of the scores are not for Ray. I brought my car in Decemebr and did not work with him them. I think I paid too much for my kia but that is not his fault. I am rating him about the most recent experience. To make a long story sahor the extended warranty team could not get their stuff together and was denying a claim but after complaining Roy got involved and esculated it and got me taken care of so he will order parts and get it fixed. I think that he is a 10! So I just wanted to say thank you and I would recommemnd kia but not sure if I would recommend the extended warranty they use. Try to get a new kia if you dont want the run around or one that still has the factory warrantly. Will keep you posted on my issue if interested. On second thought this shows that Kia does not inspect the vehicles throughly so I would not recommend them. I would say that I should not even have to pay the 100 dollar deductible because this is not norml wear and tear and should have been found during the inspection process. Thank you!

Since this incident the car was repaired and the dealership took care of everything. I am happy now and I thank Ray and the General manaager for making sure I was pleased. They did go above and beyond and I appreciated their help.

They did the oil change so fast that I was shocked and they also did not rotate my tires normally you are told what needs to be changed on your car and maintenance repairs or changes. There was none of that done that it really makes me think if they even did the oil change. They always call me by the previous owner of the car that I have now and I have told them that multiple times and they supposebly changed on the computer, but always get it wrong. I DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE TO NO ONE. DONT COME HERE! THEY SUCK WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE..
