Poor experience Overall I have had good experiences at this service center. However I just completed a recall service on my vehicle and the experience with one employ Overall I have had good experiences at this service center. However I just completed a recall service on my vehicle and the experience with one employee was very poor. My experience started with me scheduling an online appointment for the recall to be serviced. I showed up on the scheduled date and time and made contact with Matthew in the service department. Matthew informed me that the online appointment system was malfunctioning so they did not have a record of my appointment. Matthew also told me that they could not service the recall on vehicle because they would have to order the parts first. I left the meeting confused and a little frustrated because I had online confirmation of my appointment and Matthew seemed very uninterested in trying to assist me. Toward the end of October I called back and scheduled an appointment via phone to have the recall fixed. I once again arrived at the date and time scheduled and I once again spoke to Matthew. This time Matthew looked at the recall paperwork and my vehicle and then informed me that they recall did not need to be serviced because the Check Engine light or low Oil light were not on. He gave me my keys and told me I was all set. This did not seem right. So I left the business and drove down the street where I examined the paperwork. The paperwork indicated that there was a recall on the oil pan that needed to be examined by a technician to see if it needed to be replaced. My car was never examined before I was told by Matthew that it was all set. Concerned I called back and spoke to a service advisor.... Steve the service adviser was very professional and seemed to know his stuff. Steve advised me to turn around and bring the car back in because they needed to actually examine it to see if the oil pan needed to be replaced. I turned around and went back to the service center for the third time. This time I spoke with Jeremy who located the recall within minutes and advised that it needed to be examined by a technician. Jeremy was very professional and I have enjoyed working with him in the past. Jeremy handed me back off to Matthew who apologized and said that for some reason his computer was not showing the recall.... Later that day I received a call from Matthew saying that the oil pan was found defective and needed to be replaced. Matthew advised that they would have to order the pan but I was able to come get my car if I needed it. I didn't need it for the next two days and I did not feel like making a fourth trip in so I told him to just keep it for the next couple of days to try and get it done. Two days later I called back and Matthew advised that the pan was still not in. Needing a car for work I asked if he could provide me a loaner vehicle. He said no. He advised that I could come get my car if I wanted to. Left with no other choice, I went to the service center to get my car. Upon arrival, I again asked Matthew if I could get a loaner. He again replied that I couldn't have one and that they didn't have any. He said he would confirm with some else that that was the case. Thankfully the person he asked was Jeremy and within 5 minutes I was in a loaner car and on my way to work. Matthew seemed upset that they gave me a car and expressed to me that the service manager may be calling me to ask for the car back. Two days later I received a call from Jeremy advising me that my car was all done. I returned to the service center, dropped the loaner car off, and retrieved my vehicle. The entire experience was frustrating. Matthew did not seem to want to assist me in anyway. Every step seemed like I was bothering him and he was just trying to get rid of me without having to do any work. Poor customer service. Thankfully Jeremy, Steve, and the other service people I spoke with actually seemed to care and we're highly professional. More

The never ending horrible My vehicle was at Kia for a week and a half, to replace a tire and a wheel. The warranty work took some time oh, and I have no problem with that. I receive no phone call, no updates oh, my husband called with questions and Steve did not return his call. I was told on three separate occasions my vehicle would be ready, only to call 10 minutes before closing on all three occasions and be told it was not ready. During this time my battery also went dead on my vehicle, so I had to wait an extra day for that to go through warranty and get fixed. The icing on the cake, the date of my vehicle was supposed to be done I was called at noon and told it was going to be on its way soon. My husband went by the service center at 2:45 oh, it was still there. I was called and told that it was going to go out at 3, after 2 hours I spoke to the manager Keith and let him know how deeply disappointed I was in the customer service and that my vehicle still was not there. After his phone call I received a call from a stranger down the road. He had gotten my phone number from the paperwork left inside my Kia, along with my personal effects, and my keys. He told me that he believed he had my vehicle it was left in his driveway. I do not even have a poor customer service experience bad enough to even compare this to. I would not recommend this place to anyone. More

My car began to shutter and had difficulty maintaining its speed. I called Kia of Lansing and they told me to bring it right in. They saw that I was a mom with two hungry and tired boys, so they got me in a loaner vehicle right away. The problem with my car was fixed under warranty and I had my vehicle back in 4 days. They even detailed my car! Not only does my car drive like new, but it looks fantastic. More

Great service as always. Keep up the great work. I have always had a great experience when i go to Kia. I just purchased my new Kia Soul on July 31st. I love it!!
