Great customer service! I was having trouble starting my 2015 Kia Forte for the past four months. The battery would die at random, leaving me stranded at my location longer t I was having trouble starting my 2015 Kia Forte for the past four months. The battery would die at random, leaving me stranded at my location longer than I intended on multiple occasions. A few weeks ago it completely died and would not start after the typical waiting time it usually took to recharge. As a student, I prolonged getting a diagnostic run due to financial reasons. Each time I took my car in for routine maintenance, technicians refused to check under my hood to provide some sort of explantation for this issue for a fairly new vehicle. My car turned on two days later and I drove it to the Kia of Lansing for a diagnostic. I was enthusiastically greeted by Steven Knight at Kia of Lansing's Express Service department. I gave him the full run down of what I was experiencing, the fact that I was a student and my budget was tight, and that my vehicle had presented no other issues besides the battery dying. For the first time since May, Steven heard me out and decided to look under my hood himself and see if he could identify the issue. Within SECONDS, he saw that my battery was not secured which was the cause of it dying and needing time to recharge after driving. He happily grabbed a drill to tighten the screws to secure the battery. I am thankful that Steven was actively listening to my description of the issue, willing to be patient, and take the initiative to help me reduce costs as a student. I haven't had issues with my car since the visit and I am back to enjoying my Kia Forte! Thanks Steven! More

Horrible service to women Brought car in for oil changes and complained of other issues and was dismissed or told they don’t see them or hear them over and over until I stormed Brought car in for oil changes and complained of other issues and was dismissed or told they don’t see them or hear them over and over until I stormed I to skip young’s office they keep car over weekend replaced a part and problem stopped briefly. Lease was almost up and service department was a joke if ur a woman. Everyone else who was in my car felt the whole thing vibrate and multiple people saw rpms rev way too high but certified mechanics couldn’t for two years! Will never own or lease another Kia! More
Rough start I had a 10:00 appointment. When I arrived the service manager told me that I would have a 4 hour wait. Since I live in Ithaca I would have had no ch I had a 10:00 appointment. When I arrived the service manager told me that I would have a 4 hour wait. Since I live in Ithaca I would have had no choice but to wait. Needless to say I was not happy and let him know. I don’t know what was done but my software update was done in less than an hour. It just seemed strange that I was told I would have a 4 hr wait causing unnecessary stress when in actuality I was on my way in less than an hour! More

At a certain point, I became concerned that I wasn’t receiving the level of service I needed. A friend suggested I try Kia of Lansing, where I also knew one of the sales professionals. Keith and Kane exceeded my already high expectations by making it the easiest, most seamless service experience I can recall. They analyzed my needs, advised me accordingly by presenting options, which I considered and determined the service course that my vehicle needed. Their cost estimate was spot-on, and they made me feel invested in my service decision. Also, Eric identified two chips in my windshield, which he then proceeded to assist me with having them repaired through my insurance, organizing a 3-way conference call with my insurance company and saving me time and money. More
