I purchased our Telluride in March 2021. I paid over the sticker price, but my wife loved the vehicle, the features and the salesman talked up the service department. I live over an hour away and make the drive to have our Kia serviced by the dealer. This was the 3rd service. We make an appointment every time. This trip, was over an hour and a half. This was the quickest appointment of the three. Nothing fancy. Just an oil change and tire rotation. Our vehicle sat outside for 42 minutes before they even pulled it in. I think the service department just takes vehicles as they show up. Definitely going to try a different dealer for service. A vehicle service shouldn’t be a half of a day endeavor. The last time it was well over 2 hours. They don’t clean the windows, vacuum or do anything special. My other vehicle is a 2021 Chevy Silverado. I paid about the same price, close to 50k, but purchased from a local small town dealership. They do a quick vacuum, wipe the windows, throw in paper floor mats, and take the time to go over everything they checked out, with me. At KIA of Lansing, I get the bill and hours of wasted time. Super disappointed that I spent that much and the service after the sale is so poor. Lesson learned. Don’t by from big city dealers. They don’t need your business to survive. More

The service was great! Besides the expensive pricing for basic maintenance on a vehicle with only 8k miles, and the wait, I enjoyed the experience. The staff was very friendly and one of the sales guys went basic maintenance on a vehicle with only 8k miles, and the wait, I enjoyed the experience. The staff was very friendly and one of the sales guys went out of his way to tray and help me solve my UVO problems (saving the negative UVO review for another time and place). More

Friendly staff, but Mikaela inside needs to tone it down a bit, she’s friendly and good when answering the phone, but there’s still the customers sitting inside waiting who get an impression. You can’t help but hear her, she is so loud and giggly, I kept thinking to myself who’s teenage daughter is back behind the counter right now? Then I realized it was the same girl answering phones. You can hear every word she says, and she just never stops talking. I felt like the other girl working up there with Mikaela, who was calm and professional, probably dreads coming to work everyday having to be around that type of energy. I’m sorry, I don’t normally complain I’m pretty easy going, but listening to that girl for 45 mins drove me crazy. So very unprofessional, and I feel like she’s not a good representation of Kia. More
Start with the positive note, the staff is very nice and kind. However a Scheduled appointment took 3 hours to balance tires is not acceptable. I heard several customers complaining about the wait and over heard an issue with equipment was the problem. A phone call would have been much better received and an offer to reschedule due to the issue. A 30 min drive 1 way to sit for 3 hours of my day is not how I planned my holiday vacation time. More
