This dealer employs the practice of padding the invoice with a couple of mandatory items that do nothing but increase their bottom line: Their “Kia of Leesburg Advantage” is a bunch of dealer installed with a couple of mandatory items that do nothing but increase their bottom line: Their “Kia of Leesburg Advantage” is a bunch of dealer installed options, basically worth pennies, such as paint protection, headlight protection, interior and a/c spray, nitrogen, etc., etc., to the tune of $1,995.00! The “advantage” is definitely to the dealer, not the customer. Also, one of the items on the list was a “Welcome Kit + Car Care Products”, which I didn’t even receive! Another invoice add-on of theirs is the “dealer fee” of $1,200.00. Another dealer down the road charges $600.00 for this line item, and some actually don’t charge this, yet those that do will insist it is non-negotiable. The other incredulous thing they did was refuse to provide me with two key fobs. Common sense and customer service would dictate that all vehicles sold should come with two keys. I asked several times but they refused. The salesman was pleasant and professional, and the only reason for my not rating him 5 stars was his reluctance to insist the dealer provide me with two keys for the vehicle they sold me. More
