I was encouraged to make an 8 AM appointment and upon arrival I was told that the service department was not open till nine in the morning. I was also told that I'd have to leave the car for the entire d arrival I was told that the service department was not open till nine in the morning. I was also told that I'd have to leave the car for the entire day. This was not told to me in advance, I then talk to the service manager and told him that this was unacceptable and then he simply asked me to leave and said he was no longer interested in servicing my vehicle. The car was in for a simple fuse replacement and possibly a new headlamp assembly. The headlamp assembly evidently had to go into the main service bay, and I was told that you were very backed up so it would take a good part of the day. My solution, not the service managers suggestion, was to have the fuse replaced which took about 10 to 15 minutes. I simply am forgetting about going to forget about the other headlamp assembly, I have never been in an auto dealership where I have been asked to leave. I had simply indicated that the lack of communication regarding the appointment was unacceptable. I like my Kia Niro, but will use a different Kia dealership from now on. More
