I bought a vehicle from this dealership specifically for the 100,000-mile warranty, expecting peace of mind for the next decade. Instead, I have been met with incompetence, disrespect, and a refusal to honor their work. Shortly after purchasing the car, my wife drove through a flooded street. Insurance covered the engine replacement, which was performed by a mechanic at Kia of Port Charlotte. This is where the issues began. 1. **Faulty Flood Damage Assessment:** The mechanic's initial estimate was severely lacking. They only replaced the engine and failed to properly inspect the vehicle for other flood-related damage. 2. **Transmission Failure:** Less than a month later, the transmission failed. After significant argument and resistance from the dealership, they finally agreed to fix it, acknowledging that it was part of the original flood damage they should have addressed. 3. **Sensor and Wiring Issues:** A year later, multiple sensors began to fail due to corrosion. When I returned to the dealership, they claimed this was a new flood-related issue and insisted that I file a claim with my now-lapsed insurance, essentially pushing the financial burden onto me. A competent mechanic would have checked the wiring harness for corrosion during the initial repair, preventing this from happening. Kia of Port Charlotte's mechanics performed a bare-minimum, negligent repair, and I am now paying the price. The staff has been **incredibly disrespectful**, ignoring my calls and treating me like I am an idiot. This dealership's service department is unprofessional, dishonest, and fails to stand behind its work. What should have been a single insurance claim has turned into an ongoing financial and emotional burden, all because of their incompetence. Do not trust them with your vehicle. More
Had a great experience recently with the Service team, specifically Ron Munday. His professionalism and attention to the customer was outstanding and comforting. I felt confident when the vehicle was left in his hands knowing him and his team would continue the work until resolution. I would definitely recommend scheduling Service with Ron and I will reach out to him in the future knowing his care for the customer. More

Let me tell ya – 2nd time for needed service, Difference from the first one - BETTER, and that was hard to do! Falisha, Aja and Maria were shortchanged. I visit Florida during the winter, have a 2016 KIA Soul as a second vehicle only as 47k in 9 yrs of use. Last year had some work done and replaced the cabin filter. This year I brought the car in for an o as a second vehicle only as 47k in 9 yrs of use. Last year had some work done and replaced the cabin filter. This year I brought the car in for an oil change and was told it needed a new cabin filter and sent a video of an awful dirty filter…but this filter is less than a year old/4k miles, no way it should be that dirty, so I believe my cabin filter wasn’t changed but charged $50…… When confronted with this the asst service manager agreed that it looks way too dirty for 4k of use of urban area driving….however the service manager Rachel disagreed and argued with me that this was possible….maybe if you live down 10 miles of dirt roads or in the Sahara desert….but not from urban area driving…..so over a $20 part….they have lost a service customer…… My customer service representative was fantastic….The service manager agreed…can’t say the same….
