First time BMW driver.... and very happy about it! My current vehicle lease was about up and I saw an article on the new BMW X1. I looked around, did some research and came in to look over and test My current vehicle lease was about up and I saw an article on the new BMW X1. I looked around, did some research and came in to look over and test drive one. I had some specific options on mind and would have had to order one which was not a problem. After my second test drive I came in and they were shooting a TV commercial for some service loaners. I asked the salesman if these were leasable. To my astonishment I could get a new X3 (service loaner in excellent +++ conditions with warranty and maintenance) for the same price as the X1 I was looking at and with more options! Now the X1 is nice, but the X3 : ) . Bothe the sales guys and the finance guy made it easy to make this deal on a wonderful car. I'm starting to save up for my next one right away. Patrick offered a variety of solutions, and we walked through the positives and negatives of each. I cannot avoid paying for my past mistakes, but at least I can see an end to the madness, while driving away in a brand new BMW. It looks to me like everyone won here, and that should be how it works. Did I get anything for free? Of course not. (Coffee mugs and cake excluded) But we worked out a something that worked for everyone, which has not always been my experience when at a dealership. xxxxxxalso to the service department, who really take care of their customers by presenting a complete picture with useful information.
