A Car Salesman That Can Sleep At Night Jerod was super great to work with - I really didn't know what to expect going by myself and was fully prepared to have someone try to take advantage Jerod was super great to work with - I really didn't know what to expect going by myself and was fully prepared to have someone try to take advantage of my lack of expertise in buying a new car. I didn't feel this way at all at Kings Mazda! I had been to a different dealership the same day that would only offer me an average, so-so price, and so I was shocked when I went to Kings Mazda and with minimal talking (and practically no haggling) was offered the same car for $2000 less than the other dealers' "best they could do." Nervous about going on my own without a male family member, I looked up all the do's and don't's about car-buying. I knew exactly what I wanted to pay per Kelley Blue Book prior to going, so I felt prepared to not be swindled. BUT Jerod didn't ask what monthly payment I was looking for (admitted that's a huge mistake people sometimes make), didn't try to get me to sign up for the warranty for the interior fabric and whatnot (he actually told me NOT to), and he had no problem with my not wanting to upgrade to the next model up. Also, did I mention I got my brand spanking new Mazda3 for $1000 less than truecar.com's "unusually low price" paid for this car? What?!? Staff is super friendly and helpful.
