I dont recall being informed or prompted of the 10 year drive train inspection necessity to continue warantee coverage. I had extensive drive train work done 6 months before the inspection date and dont re drive train inspection necessity to continue warantee coverage. I had extensive drive train work done 6 months before the inspection date and dont recall being informed of pending inspection. Fuel injector would not have been detected. I feel taken advantage of with a small technicality. I have had several Dodge vehicles as a 16 year Chrysler employee and drive train was always covered. I actually paid for the lifetime bumper to bumper in addition to the lifetime drive train warrantee. All void for technicality. Service center and employees great. Chryslers warrantee trap very poor business ethic. I wont buy Dodge or Jeep again. More
Import of 10 year drivetrain inspection not brought to my attention. Injectors would not have shown up in the inspection. I was taken advantage of. Joe in service is awesome and always makes sure the job is done right. Any time we have an issue he is quick to try and get us in. It was horrible. 2 hrs. 45 min. for a scheduled oil change & tire rotation. Was provided at no charge after I asked, "Where is my vehicle, I have to go to work". Paperwork documented wrong oil (synthet change & tire rotation. Was provided at no charge after I asked, "Where is my vehicle, I have to go to work". Paperwork documented wrong oil (synthetic) put in my vehicle but I was assured by Parts Dept. (Kim) & Service Dept. Mgr. that the correct oil (SAE 5W-20) was put in my vehicle (following their discussions with the technician). You tell me, how comforting is that? Can I believe that a technician would say he put synthetic oil in my engine after I had already left and drove the vehicle (catching the error on paperwork later)? My regular contact, Justin, was out from medical emergency that day. I was promised by Kim updated paperwork on my vehicle (correct oil indicated) and that never came. I called the next day as follow up and Justin promptly provided it. I did, however, get a list of things wrong with my vehicle and quotes to fix it (glad something was being done in 2 hrs. 45 min.). Off the top of my head, cabin filter, front & rear brake pads & rotors. This is my 2nd time in dealing with Kim. The first didn't go so well either with my husband's truck. We had to get the Service Dept. Manager involved at that time too. A cheap route was taken by tech to fix a problem -- without any discussion with us (owner). The cheap route didn't fix the problem and we had to start all over again. Aggravation, lost time. Losing faith in this department altoghether. Our extended family has purchared numerous Jeep and Ram vehicles from Klaben -- all being 100% serviced here. two of those family members (2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee & 2018 Ram Laramie) have long since quit coming to this location. At my 100K service when asking to have the transmission fluid & filter changed, after they got my Jeep in the back, I was told that you cannot open the totally enclosed 8-speed Jeep Grand Cherokee transmission to change the transmission fluid & filter. I've read online, however, that it is fully suggested that you to do so, it just costs about $900. More
