Mike Reith was very helpful. Normally dealers look at my boyfriend and I and do not walk up to us or talk down to us like we know nothing about cars or car prices. Took our Highlander in for regular service and an issue with the cruise control. The tech determined we needed the cruise stick replaced. We have an extended warranty on the vehicle so I dropped off the with the cruise control. The tech determined we needed the cruise stick replaced. We have an extended warranty on the vehicle so I dropped off the paperwork for the repair to be preapproved. Over a month went by, no communication from Kolosso. I called the manager that the service writers report and explained the situation. He made me gather all the information again and email him with the information. Now 10 days later and again no communication from Kolosso. Looks like I need to find a real service provider. I can cross off Tundra from my list of trucks to consider next. Update: I finally got a call back on this issue. However, I got the call back from Cody, even though I had requested to work with another service writer. I took the car back and now the service tech could not repeat the problem with the cruise even though their service order stated it was bad and needed replacing. So their fix was to blame the customer for spilling something on the cruise stick. This highlander is driven by two adults, it is not a spilled-on, puked-on kid hauling vehicle. We even put a cover on the driver's seat to protect it when having service performed. I stand by my poor rating and will not be returning to Kolosso in Appleton. More
