Sorry you were not happy with us. My service dept. did not do anything wrong. You were checked in by a service greeter, and walked to an oil change writer. When you requested an additional service, they had to take you to another writer that worked with more advanced techs. That is our process, and they followed it. Letting us know in advance when you need additional work, would make it go smoother. Apparently you came in for a free service that you were offered at another dealer where you purchased your vehicle. This had nothing to do with Kolosso Toyota.

I want to clarify the facts. The service writer, which was the THIRD person I was sent to told me he had no techs to work on the lock reprogramming I was told on the phone it when I scheduled the oil change ONE WEEK in advance that the lock reprogramming would take 2 MINUTES and would be NO PROBLEM. I was then sent to a FOURTH service writer who told me, and I quote, “ALL HIS GUYS WERE AT LUNCH”, this was at 11AM! He later told me my oil change and tire rotation would be $195 - ONE HUNDRED NINETY FIVE DOLLARS! I then talked to Karen Kolosso one of the owners - she showed ZERO INTEREST IN MY COMPLAINT! I left without the oil change, then went to Bergstrom Toyota in Oshkosh to have my 4Runner serviced for UNDER $100! DO NOT BUY VEHICLES OR GET THEM SERVICED AT KOLOSSO IN APPLETON, WI.!!!

We apologize for your poor experience. We understand your frustration, however sometimes it takes longer to diagnose an issue than to actually fix it. And on top of that, once the problem is diagnosed the customer does not always authorize the repair---hence the charges for estimates. I am not familiar with your specific case, but it sounds like you did receive a refund. We apologize that this was not handled better.

Sorry for your experience. You watched the security video with me that showed the technician using a torque wrench on the lug nuts, on all of your wheels. Your response shows you Refuse to take responsibility for what happened with your service department. You clearly don’t care about your customers as you state a goodwill gesture, but fail to recognize a real issue. The video shown does not indicate they were torqued properly as you are not able to see the wrench the guy is using and can’t see the amount of ft/lbs if any that were used. We agreed on that. Also the fact that you said the problems I had were already relevant prior to the service, were not indicated on the service report. All 4 wheels were loose due to your service as I didn’t have the issue before. A good will gesture of 25% off a 1k bill for new rotors and calipers isn’t even close to resolving the issue. Your service department could have killed someone. Now I am stuck with a truck that has issues due to the lack of competence of your service department. The fact that your father in law, Bill kolosso, said I can fix it myself, is pure disrespect to a customer. You rendered a service poorly and still continue to make excuses to not fix it. Your bias, because your father in law is Bill kolosso, outweighs any of your customer support to resolve the issue. You are putting business before customers.
