We had been working with Brian Camp at Korum Ford for a couple of years looking for a used expedition. We were not able to find one with all the features we wanted. After talking with him we decided to lo couple of years looking for a used expedition. We were not able to find one with all the features we wanted. After talking with him we decided to look into buying a new Expedition. He went out of his way to answer all of our questions and make us comfortable with our decision. With his help we finally decided on purchasing a 2020 limited expedition max from the factory. During the end process we found another Expedition at a dealership up north with the key options we wanted and it was ALOT cheaper and drove great . Torn I explained my situation to Brian he was completely looking out for us. He said if we really wanted the other one he understood. Which was amazing because I felt bad after all the time and effort he put in. While looking at the other expedition up north, I asked numerous times about if the car had issues or had been bought by anyone . Because the car was a 2020 and so much cheaper and a little over 900 miles. They said they used the car for running errands (even mentioning that they had just used it to get pumpkins)They provided me with protection pricing paperwork and a car fax for the car. I told them I was going directly to Korum Ford to compare pricing for the car and the protection options. I gave the paperwork to Brian and he ran a more detailed background on the expedition. Not only had the expedition been purchased but it was in the shop multiple times for major issues. They lied directly to my face!! I called this dealership and inquired why they lied. The salesperson whole attitude changed he became rude and argumentative. They said the person hadn't taken ownership of the car. Lie, the person brought the car to the dealership for service and had purchased a 72,000 mile warranty as well. They also stated all the issues had been taken care of and they would have to disclose this to us in our paperwork if we purchased the car. Like they did when I asked them repeatedly inperson?? Told them there would be no way we'd purchase the expedition from them and hung up. If Brian hadn't done this search we would have purchased the expedition from the other dealership. And based on the vehicles service record probably ended up with a lemon. We bought our beautiful expedition from the factory and couldn't be happier. Brian not only saved us from this other nightmare vehicle but he helped us be confident in our purchase. He showed us key options on our car and how to customize them for us and helped us set up our phones,etc. He explained the different service and protection packages. Then we went to talk with David in the fiance department. David was also very helpful explaining in detail the different protection packages and helped us find the best financing. He made sure we understood the options and spent time going thru each one.. Overall we were very impressed with our experience with Korum Ford and Lincoln dealership in Puyallup. They were honest, friendly,and very knowledgeable and really listened to us.
