My wife and were visiting from California and I noticed a loud humming noise coming from the front of the car. Concerned I had a serious tire or wheel bearing problem and faced with a 2200 mile drive back to loud humming noise coming from the front of the car. Concerned I had a serious tire or wheel bearing problem and faced with a 2200 mile drive back to CA, I took it to Krenzen Honda in Duluth, MN and asked them to look at it. Eric in Service took charge and did a thorough check of the car, including checking the tires and testing the wheel bearings. In the end the problem resulted from feathering on the tire edges resulting from a recent tire rotation. There’s no fix for this, but he rotated the tires back to their original locations, which significantly reduced the noise. I am impressed with the thoroughness and thoughtfulness Eric exhibited and his dedication to making sure my car was safe to drive on a long trip. I am a Customer Service professional myself, having managed customer service for a tier 1 high tech company, and I know outstanding customer service when I encounter it. I give Krenzen Honda. The service area was clean and open. The customer waiting area was clean and comfortable too. Totally unsatisfying experience, routine maintenance done, along with a recall, and problems with a tire losing pressure. The service writer first had me pay another person’s bill, when I tried to retri done, along with a recall, and problems with a tire losing pressure. The service writer first had me pay another person’s bill, when I tried to retrieve my vehicle it was not where it should have been if completed. At that point he figured out he made a mistake. When the service was complete I paid my bill and found serveral parts sitting on my console and asked what they were for, service writer reinstalled the parts. Part of the service was to repair a tire that loses pressure, I was told there was no leak found and paid for that service of checking the tire, the following morning the tire had lost pressure again I have little confidence in this particular Honda dealership and will not be returning More
