I purchased a new Volvo from Kundert Volvo - confirmed all final specs, completed financing paperwork and arranged for a day/time to pick up the car. I was called two days later and told that the car that I "bought" was not available, and instead I would receive a different car, in a different color that I had already declined earlier. My recent service appointment involved my first experience with Chip Griffin and I do need to say that he upheld the Kundert tradition of excellence. I was more than pleased with his approach and professionalism, diligence in seeing that my concerns were met and assuring that my service was complete and as painless(time and money) as possible. While there I also ran into Tony Calderon, who sold me this car, and made sure all was going as expected, and Pete Pesce, who has been an excellent service adviser for me in the past. Ken was very nice, as was Erin. Ken was prompt in responding to my e-mailed questions about the car and gave me a fair price for the car and trade in. He did reduce the estimated trade in value by $5 responding to my e-mailed questions about the car and gave me a fair price for the car and trade in. He did reduce the estimated trade in value by $500 but it was given with the understanding that it was sight unseen and subject to seeing the actual car. He then reduced the purchase price quoted by $341 so it was pretty much a wash. Erin was great in the financing end and offering us the "extras". She explained each of the options and did not try to force us into taking anything we were not interested in. When we picked up the car Ken was helpful in explaining the many features of the car, and if he did not know how something needed to be done he got someone who did, to show us. About the only thing that I was surprised about, was that the car did not have a full tank of gas. It was filled to about half a tank. But I didn't think to ask about it before hand, so I would suggest anyone else out there request a full tank of gas to be included. All in all I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a VOLVO. More
