We have had numerous experiences with LaFontaine in Birch Run since I purchased our 2020 Ford Escape and each time they have been professional. Everything was fine until after I finalized the purchase and signed the contract. I bought the car during the day and drove it that night and one of the front lights didn't work. I called my sales man and he told me it wasn't covered under the warranty that I had bought, it was a wearable item! I was also purchased a second key and it took over 3 weeks and 13 phone calls to the sales man, the finance manager, and the location manager before it was scheduled (done 3 days past the first scheduled day). Unbelievably rude service department. I literally felt like I was attacked. Two of the men in the service department stood up and we're yelling at me! Unbelievable! I just bought a $55,00 I literally felt like I was attacked. Two of the men in the service department stood up and we're yelling at me! Unbelievable! I just bought a $55,000 vehicle from them and just took it in for simple service. They asked for credit card for payment and I told them all I had was a Visa card. When I told them that I don't have credit I only have debit I will have to take my car somewhere else they started getting rude and confrontational with me. It escalated where they both stood up and were in my face yelling at me. I'm a very mild mannered person. I don't know why they got so angry and we're yelling at me. All I do know is I will never ever buy a vehicle from them again! More
