Be prepared to sit thru a presentation on lots of service packages. Not sure that they are a good value. Especially when you pay up front for things you may not ever need or won’t need for quite a while. Don’t say yes to these immediately and the price will probably drop by several thousand dollars. Understand that the inspection check list they show you is not thorough and not certified. “As is” means buyer beware. My car was delivered with a “check engine” indicator showing. Nothing serious, but cost me another $150 to repair a couple days after getting the vehicle. More

Absolutely will never work with LaFontaine again. I sold my vehicle to them on Friday and they cut a check right then. However, when I went to deposit the check the following morning as the bank has I sold my vehicle to them on Friday and they cut a check right then. However, when I went to deposit the check the following morning as the bank has already closed on Friday, I was told that they couldn't complete the transaction as the check was not issued. I immediately reached out to LaFontaine but was told they couldn't do anything until Monday but they would have someone call me Monday morning. Come Monday, I did not receive a call and had to call 4 separate times before I finally reached the manager. Each time the associate told me the manager was busy but would call me back asap. That did not happen. When I finally did speak to the manager, I was told this was the first he was hearing of it. When I explained the situation, he refused to take ownership of the mistake and was very condescending. This was the worst experience I've ever had selling a vehicle. More
