Amazing service, attention to detail, customer satisfaction, pricing, and overall consideration. My first time buying a Kia and I’m enjoying it! satisfaction, pricing, and overall consideration. My first time buying a Kia and I’m enjoying it! More
It was a horrible experience per usual. I was placed on hold for 48 minutes and 11 seconds. I want my car looked at but they need to keep it for 2 weeks, and I can't get a loaner. LaFontaine: the guys who will say anything to get your money I bought a 2024 Toyota TRD Off-Road 4runner from LaFontaine in the middle of February of 2026. During the course of the very extensive proce money I bought a 2024 Toyota TRD Off-Road 4runner from LaFontaine in the middle of February of 2026. During the course of the very extensive process of evaluating the vehicle with Sean, the used car sales rep, I explicitly asked him about the onboard navigation system, GPS, weather and traffic capabilities of the vehicles interface. I was initially told that he didn't have a definitive answer regarding those features though after I insisted that these components were really a deal breaker and absolutely material to the sale, he went back into the trailer they use as an office and allegedly consulted with someone who was familiar with this particular model, year and trim. I was then unequivocally informed that the vehicle did indeed have all of the features I had asked about. I reiterated the importance of such items and told Sean once again that I absolutely required them in any vehicle I was considering buying. He once more assured me that the onboard systems did include these features. After signing the sales contract I drove the car home that night and very soon discovered to my astonishment and dismay that it appeared to have none of the integrated display features (navigation, traffic, GPC, weather, etc.) that I had insisted were necessary and material to the sale, asked twice about and been assured were in fact present on this particular vehicle. I initially contacted Sean via email asking him for guidance and assistance in trying to unlock these features, but after a day went by and he still hadn't replied to my email, I felt obligated to reach out to Toyota Corporate and file a grievance against the dealership. I explained the situation, the conscious and deliberate deception that was perpetrated by the sales rep and the resulting dissatisfaction with the shady and disreputable tactics employed by LaFontaine. Toyota Corporate then contacted the dealership and they immediately reached out to me and asked me how they could rectify their error and make this right. I told them that the equivalent value of a 3 year subscription to the ATT wireless onboard service that the vehicle does have would be a fair and reasonable form of compensation since it would at least give me access to GPS and traffic updates which I rely entirely on the vehicle for as I do not own a smartphone (and yes, this was also explained to Sean prior to sale). The sales manager (Joe Neff) who I talked to regarding my concerns told me that while he couldn't give me precisely what I was asking for, he would give me the equivalent value of a 2 year subscription to the Wi-Fi service which amounted to $500. I told him that seemed to me to be fair and subsequently withdrew my complaint about LaFontaine with Toyota Corporate. This all happened the same week I purchased the vehicle which, at the time of my writing this, was four weeks ago. I never received any check or compensation from LaFontaine. I called them three times last week and requested to speak with Joe (sales manager), who had agreed to write me a check for $500. I kept going to his voicemail despite being told that he was "at his desk". I left three separate voicemails and also sent an email last week. In the final message, I told him that no check had been forthcoming and that I wanted to know whether LaFontaine was going to give me what we had agreed was fair. I also told him that I would be writing this review if I hadn't received a check or a reply by Monday (yesterday), which I have not. Let me close by saying that I was lied to twice by LaFontaine employees, the first time concerning facts material to the sale of a vehicle which I had explicitly asked about twice and the second time by a manager who merely wanted me to rescind my complaint to Toyota Corporate. These guys will say anything to get your to give them your money. Dishonorable mention to both Sean and Joe for being so deceptive. More
I only dealt with the service department from the dealership, but it was quick and easy. I dropped my car off on Sunday through the dropbox by Monday They got my request going. My car needed to be pa dealership, but it was quick and easy. I dropped my car off on Sunday through the dropbox by Monday They got my request going. My car needed to be painted through Hyundai‘s warranty and they handled everything through a third-party shot and when I got my car back, it looked fantastic. They are handling the billing with Hyundai‘s warranty for me so I didn’t have to pay anything out-of-pocket. The other dealerships I called about it all give me the runaround or they quoted a really long wait time, but here it was quick and easy! Definitely happy with the results & their service. More
