When I dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday, I told them about 2 problems. I was told I was going to get a call the next day and tell me what was exactly wrong. I didn't hear from anyone for 3 days. I star about 2 problems. I was told I was going to get a call the next day and tell me what was exactly wrong. I didn't hear from anyone for 3 days. I started to call the service department and left messages on a daily basis to please give me a call. I didn't receive a call until after a talked to a completely different department to try and get some sort of answers. Then I don't even know if the second concern was even looked at. There was nothing about it on the discharge paperwork. More

I took my Tundra in for 10K service and was having trouble with very loud brake squealing. All covered under my Toyota Care Agreement that I purchased with the vehicle. The service was completed and a trouble with very loud brake squealing. All covered under my Toyota Care Agreement that I purchased with the vehicle. The service was completed and after being told they checked the brakes, that everything looked OK and that the noise is just something that comes with these "steel brakes". After doing just a little research on my own I found a Toyota Service Bulletin that specifically addresses this problem and how to fix it. (T-SB-0022-25, "Front Brake Squeal Noise". which gives Service Departments specific direction on parts needed and how to fix it and also states it is covered under original warranty. It is clear that this service dept. does not do their homework. I have scheduled an appointment with the service dept. where I purchased the vehicle and they assured me they would take care of it. In all fairness, I was treated with great courtesy and communication by the service writer, but the substance of actual service was very poor. In addition, I called and left a message and never got a call back. I am going to have difficulty trusting this service dept. in the future. More
