Since I am a busy professional at an out of town business, I work long hours especially this time of year. So I stopped at the dealership on a Tuesday evening about 9 p.m. to check out the truck in person. As soon as I got out of my car a recorded female voice told me that I was being video recorded for my safety and protection (JOKE!!) and to come back during business hours tomorrow. I ignored it and looked at the truck. I was dressed in business casual not a hoodie and pants to the ground. I had my phone flashlight on to check the used car sticker in the tinted window and I crouched down to check out the side lines of the truck and knelt down to check the underbody. I was clearly not there to steal it. Nevertheless, a live male voice came over the speaker starting with the same safety and protection wording (JOKE!!) and then shouted "you looking at the pickup truck, you must leave now, the dealership is not open, you are trespassing and if you do not leave the police will be called and you will be forcibly removed." It was the RUDEST that I have been treated as a potential customer in a long time, maybe ever. You are lucky that I ended up buying the truck or you would have had some terrible reviews online and at BBB and with the state of WI and maybe on 4 on Your Side or Fox 6's consumer protection segment. If that was an employee of the dealership he needs to be fired; if that was an employee of a security service you need to review your requirements of them and/or he needs some serious re-training. The truck buying experience went well and I was impressed with how quickly it went versus a used car purchase I had done in December that literally took 4 hours. More
