Also, I would like to thank my salemen Juan Antonetty, who made my 3rd Hyundai we purchased a lot of fun and professional at the same time he is a asset to your sales team.I also want to give a special thanks to the service department. Morris Maines is the manger who will help in any way he can. He also has a great team under him, Tom Furey my service rep. and he always has a ear for me and helps me anyway he can. Also the rest of the service department thanks guys! I also want to send a thank you to Alan Wilkes and his team in the body shop they took care of me like I owned a Bentley! I also have to add everyone at Lake Norman treats you with respect and always has a smile for you. Thanks! I have purchased 3 Hyundais from Lake Norman and I am sure when it is time for another, Lake Norman will be the only dealer my husband and I will purchase from. I was greeted as soon as I step out of my car, and that showed me that my business was going to be appreciated. I went to another dealer in which I won't name, but I had to ask for assistance. I was introduced to Fred Bowman, and I just felt his compassion for wanting to help me, andI wanted, I could tell right away that he was very knowledgeable about the prooducts he sells. He was able to answer all my questions form the car to how to get it financed. I really appreciate salesmen/managers that take to the time to understand my needs, b/c as we all know everyone is different. Often times people are quick to report a bad experience that they have, but I wanted your company to know that I will refer everyone I know to your dealership because of the great experience I had with Fred Bowman. Thanks again, and I really enjoying my new car!!! More

I would like to share my recent experience with Lake Norman Hyundai. After signing the contract for my first new car, Dick Mckean in finance asked me to bring back pay stubs and references. I provided Norman Hyundai. After signing the contract for my first new car, Dick Mckean in finance asked me to bring back pay stubs and references. I provided all of the information and was told they needed a copy of my phone bill. After multiple copies of the bill they decided it wasn't sufficient and suggested I purchase a prepaid phone. I began receiving threatening phone calls from Juan Anoinetti stating "things could go bad and they may want me to return the car". Being this was my first car purchase and not sure how to handle the situation I asked my Mother for help. (She has been in retail Management and customer service for over 25 years) My Mother called the dealership and spoke to Chris Cole, Sales Manager, to let him know I was receiving threatening phone calls, had numerous harassing messages and ask him to find out exactly what the finance company needed. The calls abruptly stopped. Today on December 26th I received a message from Juan asking for the phone bill again and to call them back. I contacted the finance company directly and was told they only needed a bank statement for address verification. I called Dick Mckean to tell him the loan company had everything they needed and his reply was "you are an adult now and shouldn't have your Mommy call for you" as well as "I will dig to find any hiccup in your paperwork and de-horse you" and hung up on me. Unsure how to handle the situation I again called my Mother who again called Lake Norman Hyundai. She spoke to Manager Micha Gandy who shared the same poor customer service stating Dick McKean was just irritated. He was unconcerned, arrogant and claimed they had no local owners only a company in Dubai called AMSI. We were told to Google them for a number because he had never given it out. At this point the excitement of my first new car has been a disappointing experience. Other buyers need to be aware of the potential harassing phone calls and unprofessional comments and behavior you may receive at Lake Norman Hyundai in Cornelius NC. More
I went to this dealer with absolutely no intention of buying a car. A friend of mine had told me about his love for his Hyundai and I was in the market for a new car so I figured I would try them out. buying a car. The first person to approach me was Glen, he was a really great guy and offered me up some great advice and great selection of cars. He wasn't overly pushy and he understood that I had no intention of buying a car. He showed me around and I test drove a couple just to get an idea of what Hyundai's were like. Then 3 months later (yesterday) I went back and bought me a brand new Santa Fe. My wife loves it and the kids fit great. Absolutely loved the car and the service. Highly recommended. More

I decided to finally go to a dealership to see if I could a reliable American made car that would be easy to maintain. I went to Hyundai of Lake Norman and worked with Glen. He was very helpful in my decision and steered me away from some cars that I now I would have regretted. I ended up going with a 2006 Impala and trading in my old car. First off I just want to say I can't believe how great they were about getting me value for my trade-in. Carmax offered me 2k for my old car but Glen was able to get over 4k!! I realize most of the time this means they just add price to the car but I found that not true in this case. I truly believe I got a good deal (not a steal or anything). The service was great, the car is performing great, and I would highly recommend this dealer! More

I had quite honestly the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership on 8/13/12. I visited 6 other dealers in the Huntersville area and all of them were professional and courteous except LKN Hyundai. We at a dealership on 8/13/12. I visited 6 other dealers in the Huntersville area and all of them were professional and courteous except LKN Hyundai. We were "helped" by Glen, who was your stereotypical used car salesman - pushy, aggressive, and not completely honest. We were looking at one car which he told us had 62K miles on it and then, 5 min later, he said it was still under a 60K mile warranty! He spent the whole time bad mouthing every other car we looked at from other dealers, even when I said I actually liked another car. At the end, I told him I had to go pick up my son from camp, but he "only needed 5 more minutes" to get me the "deal I wanted" (I had already told him I wasn't buying anything that day). He came back with literally the highest number I told him I would spend on any car and then seemed surprised when I didn't jump on this "deal of a lifetime". After all this the worst part came. I told him his attitude was starting to make me mad and he actually said "If I wasn't pressuring you I wouldn't be doing my job" and then started right back in on me! At this point I walked out and told the Glen and internet manager to never call me. I would never buy anything from this dealer and will tell everyone I know to drive as far as it takes to buy a Hyundai from anyone else. They would have to pay me to take a car from LKN Hyundai. More
