They tried to scam me saying I needed a fuel pump and a bunch of other repairs to fix my car totaling almost 4 thousand dollars. The problem ended up being a 60$ fuel filter that not one of the technicians bunch of other repairs to fix my car totaling almost 4 thousand dollars. I was very dissatisfied with my service, I had an appointment scheduled for that day and it took over 3 1/2 hours for an oil change. I am unsure of why an appointment would be booked at the dealershi appointment scheduled for that day and it took over 3 1/2 hours for an oil change. The service department at Lakeland Volkswagen is extremely corrupt and dishonest. I brought in my convertible car for an oil change and ended up with $800 bill for services I did not need and a brok extremely corrupt and dishonest. I brought in my convertible car for an oil change and ended up with $800 bill for services I did not need and a broken convertible top. When we brought the car back to have them fix the top they broke they claimed that it was a coincidence and that it had nothing to do with the maintenance service they did to the convertible roof top. When they did a diagnosis after multiple phone calls with manager Geo (who was extremely abrasive and unprofessional over the phone) stating we will not pay $170 diagnosis fee for what they broke they claimed that the two buttons to open the roof had broken. “Coincidence” that TWO buttons broke after they serviced the roof sounds more like they broke the roof during service to make another $600 off of me. After speaking with friends and others that have brought their cars to get serviced at Lakeland Volkswagen they had similar experiences and “coincidences”. They had brought their car in for an oil change and was returned a car with broken seats and sunroof that electric motors no longer worked. If you want to save yourself time, money and frustration DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO GET SERVICED HERE! All the 5 star reviews you are seeing here are for the dealership for people who get discounts off the cars they bought for leaving a 5 star google review. All reviews regarding the service department you will find are 1 star and that’s just because we are not able to leave a zero star review. More
