I love my vehicle but the service department is a rip off. I chose a $74.00 oil change and they tried to charge me almost $300.00. Abbie agreed they didn’t rotate them. After she argued with me. Last time my oil change costed over $800.00. This is a brand new vehicle. I have to video my car before I drop it off. Please don’t stand for this. Video your vehicle before hand. Read everything and take pictures of what they make you sign because they will cheat you every chance they can. Also she wouldn’t make a copy for me of what I signed. Rip off. More
I would rate the sales department a 3 and the service department a 0. I had a coupon for oil change on the Chevy app. Lakeside never honored it. Then they charged me for a tire rotation. I had been taking my car here for years because I liked that I could get the comprehensive overview "checkup" when I got my oil changed and tires rotated. Recently, though, a basic appointment has taken longer and longer. I went in for my regular service at the start of 2024, and the prices had not just gone up, they had leaped, even with a coupon. It was near double for the exact same service, and of course a list of a whole bunch of other things the car needed. Turns out they didn't find something incredibly obvious and critical, though, that my regular mechanic took care of in about an hour. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. More
