I had a very disappointing experience at Lakeside Toyota. I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic, and it sat there all day without anyone even looking at it. I was told I’d receive a call after lunch wi I brought my vehicle in for a diagnostic, and it sat there all day without anyone even looking at it. I was told I’d receive a call after lunch with results and next steps—no one ever reached out. I had to follow up myself, only to be told they “couldn’t recreate the issue,” so no diagnostic was performed. After I pushed for them to run it anyway, I was later told the issue had actually been reproduced earlier that morning—yet no one communicated this or explained what was wrong or how they planned to fix it. When I picked up my vehicle, multiple warning lights immediately came on. I was then told it needed to stay overnight, which made no sense considering it had already been there all day with no progress. I purchased this vehicle from them in cash and also bought a warranty, which has turned out to be a complete waste. I eventually figured out the issue myself and had it repaired elsewhere—something they failed to do. I was contacted by HR and told they would work toward a resolution, but days later the only response was to bring the car back again. Overall, this was a frustrating experience with poor communication, lack of accountability, and no respect for the customer’s time. I would strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. More
