Extremely Poor Customer Service and Questionable Sales Practices by Samuel Dibashi I had a very disappointing experience with Samuel Dibashi at Land Rover Hinsdale. I found a car on their website and s Practices by Samuel Dibashi I had a very disappointing experience with Samuel Dibashi at Land Rover Hinsdale. I found a car on their website and spoke directly with Samuel, who confirmed via text and email that the car was available and ready for a test drive. He asked me to come to the showroom, so I drove 40 minutes to get there. When I arrived, I waited about 10 minutes before Samuel came out—only to tell me that the car had already been sold, supposedly within an hour after our conversation. He then said he had “another car” to show me after finishing with another customer. I decided to wait, expecting it would be a short time. However, an entire hour passed with no update or courtesy communication. He never checked in, never offered for someone else to assist me, and didn’t even offer a seat or water while I waited. When I finally spoke with him again, he simply said he was “busy with another customer.” Yet during my time there, I saw him walking around the showroom and talking with others—so clearly, he could have taken 10 seconds to send a text letting me know the car was sold before I wasted my time driving there. It makes me question whether the car ever existed or if it was simply a bait-and-switch tactic to push a more expensive vehicle. The complete lack of courtesy, communication, and professionalism was unacceptable. Zero communication skills. Zero customer service. I left feeling frustrated, disrespected, and unwelcome. Whether it was poor training, indifference, or something worse, no customer should be treated this way. I strongly recommend staying away from both Samuel Dibashi and Land Rover Hinsdale if you value honesty and respectful treatment. More
