So, when I went to his Little Rock store this week, I knew I would be treated well. That wasn’t in question. As a seventy-four year old retiree with a 10 year old trade-in, the question was whether or not I could afford to buy one last new truck. My lucky day was meeting Winston Marshall, the first Landers salesman I ran into. No pressure...he set out to see what “I” wanted. When we decided my dream truck wasn’t in stock, he got other Landers people involved in searching other dealerships for what did, after several hours of searching and working the numbers, become my new Dodge Ram 2500 4X4. Oh yeah!!! Having been in sales most of my life myself, I’m pretty sensitive to what can turn off a sales prospect. I give Winston high marks in how he handled himself with me...the customer, and acting as intermediary with managers at the dealership to put our deal together. He knows what he’s doing and his follow through is top notch even to setting time, date and blue tooth settings on the truck’s touch screen...not a small thing for an old guy who usually has to wait till the grandkids visit to get any tech updates. Anyway, look Winston up when you go car shopping. You won’t be sorry. More

Incredible lack of service Called and dropped my Jeep off to be serviced on Monday, saying I needed the Jeep back by end of day Wednesday. I'd think 2 days would be sufficient Called and dropped my Jeep off to be serviced on Monday, saying I needed the Jeep back by end of day Wednesday. I'd think 2 days would be sufficient to figure out what needed to be fixed / replaced with radio/speakers plus get an oil change. I asked the service tech (Geo) to have the service tech figure out why the radio and/or speakers were malfunctioning. The vehicle has a warranty and asked him to check if that can be used or not. He had all warranty information - verified. In addition I also asked for the oil to be changed in the Jeep Wrangler. The next afternoon I texted to ask for an update - received a response of nothing yet to report. Heard nothing so texted again the following day at 4:30 pm (Wednesday) for an update. He said tech was looking at it. I showed up at 5:30 to say I needed to pick up the car. He said he thought the radio needed to be replaced but they were on back order and didn't know when it could be replaced. In addition, no oil change was done. I'm disappointed in the service or lack thereof. I basically left the Jeep at the dealership for 2 full days and not sure it was even looked at during that time. Seems I'll need to find another Jeep dealership in either NLR or Conway for my future repairs/service if this is the normal service received at this dealership. If not, feel free to give me a call to discuss future service expectations. More
