Capitalism at its finest My car had an ignition sensor that was recalled a while back, and recently it started acting up again, same exact issue before recall. Called and made an appointment and when I got there to drop off car. even with appointment they wer 2 days behind already. What was the point of an appointment? Take my car in and out the gate I am quoted a looksie fee of 126.60??? I asked why because my car had an incredible extended warranty and the recalled part has a warranty..the service guy then told me that as long as it was covered under one of those warranties there would be no charge. I told him I didn't want any work done that wasn't covered under warranty and i was told I would owe looksie fee if it wasn't covered even if I didn't have work done. What? Well surprise iginition sensor did fall under recall warranty. When they called for me to confirm issue, I was told I needed an alignment and my rotors were really bad and needed replaced. Okay 2 things I had breaks done 3 months before bringing it in and replaced rotors at that time. 2nd I had a tire that needed to be replaced that he pointed out when I brought in car, why would I have it aligned with a bad tire?? I have had to bring my car in here before and every time they try to up sell me crap I KNOW I DO NOT NEED! I feel bad for people who may not have as good of knowledge of their car because this place is great at making you feel like it's an emergency. If I had paid the looksie that would have gone in someone's pocket. I hate this place so much I'm selling my car just so I never have to deal with another dodge dealership again. More
Service dept far superior to sales dept After 2 weeks of dealing with a sales dept that was less than helpful or honest/open, and after 2+ weeks of trying to get it scheduled, due to dealin After 2 weeks of dealing with a sales dept that was less than helpful or honest/open, and after 2+ weeks of trying to get it scheduled, due to dealing with sales people screwing up what we asked for, the holiday & work schedules, we were finally able to bring in our durango on Friday 11/30/18, to have the mopar hitch receiver installed. The Service staff was great. Very helpful!!! I can’t say that enough. We had a great experience with them. The service folks removed the incorrect equipment (that the sales dept erroneously scheduled & carried out, totally ignoring what we had requested) & installed the mopar hitch yesterday, though it did take longer than expected (also due to having to remove the incorrect equipment) and I was able to pick it up today (due to work scheduling conflicts). Our service rep was great as well. Very thorough with the quote & explanation of work being done. Thank you Braxton, for being so helpful. The only ding that I would give the service dept was the price of the labor for the install; but I’ll look past that since they had to remove the incorrect equipment (thanks a lot sales dept & your screwup). I don’t if that made it more expensive for labor, but I wouldn’t doubt it since it doubled install time for the mopar parts. More

Awful communication I bought a 2018 durango on 10-31. The initial sale was ok, but after I got home everything changed. The salesman Andre talked to me at length about th I bought a 2018 durango on 10-31. The initial sale was ok, but after I got home everything changed. The salesman Andre talked to me at length about the towing capacity, trailer sway damping, back up camera, all of the features associated with towing. He failed to point out the vehicle I purchased did not come with the tow hitch package, I did not find out until I got home. I spent the next week leaving multiple voicemails, texts, and emails to Andre, Katy in customer service, and the dealership, about what I could do to get a trailer kit installed. They all went ignored. I had to physically show back up to the dealership to get someone to talk to me. I told andre I spoke with the service dept, and they had quoted around $840 for the mopar kit and installation. He went and talked to a manager, and they said they would do it for 540. I said great, and brought it back the 12th. They kept it for 2 days, when we came to pick it up they had (unknown to us) outsourced it to an outside shop that put a cheap aftermarket hitch that bolts on under the bumper, instead of the mopar kit we requested. Many more attempts to contact the sales dept about how to get this fixed, or what it would cost us to get the correct parts put on by the factory certified dealer service dept were ignored. I eventually got a automated call saying my part was in, and we finally got the correct tow put on 11-30. I also had to call the finance dept on 11-20 to tell them they had not paid off my trade in. They said it had been fully funded for a week, and did not know why it hadn't been paid. Overall, I feel this dealership only cares about making their sale, and once you have signed and are out the door they are no longer interested in talking to you. This has been hands down the worst car buying experience of my life, and this dealership definitely has no idea how to treat its customers to try and retain their loyalty. I will never buy a vehicle from Landers again. More
