I think the dealership did a good job in trying to fix my vehicle. Chris Lawhon was knowledgeable. I'm more concerned with my Jeep Rubicon being a lemon more than anything else. Purchased new 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee. At 1000 miles the a/c quit on an extended trip in 95 degree weather. It was not a good day. When we returned we took it in and an expansion valve was replaced. 4 the a/c quit on an extended trip in 95 degree weather. It was not a good day. Less than a year later the same exact problem but the shop could not get the Jeep to reproduce the problem after we took it in however it should be noted that the weather had cooled considerably after the Jeep entered the shop for the second time. Mgr stated the Jeep had a "ghost" in it and that we would more than likely continue having issues with the Jeep regardless of how many times we took it in. They refused to just replace the same part that caused the same problem . The second time it was in the shop it stayed another 4 weeks. We had the Jeep for 14 months..two of which it was in the shop. We traded it at 13000 miles and we will never buy another vehicle from Steve Landers nor will we ever buy another Jeep. We were offered 27500 trade in for our Jeep at Landers.. The dealership that we purchased from took it in as a trade gave us 30000. If your are counting...thats 2500 more than the dealerships that told us they wanted to "make things right" because they wanted our business. We purchased another new vehicle on September 25th....the day we picked up the Jeep from Landers. We picked it up....traded it....and now could not be happier. Our new dealership actually "made things right" for our family. We are honestly very disappointed with Steve Landers and assuredly will never buy there again. There too many options when your credit score is above 800. More
The service writer i worked with was awesome. Went to get my jeep first time and the passenger seat was dirty. I took back for my top leaking above the sun visor and they repaired it so far. They left a screw loose and it fell out before i got back to work, left a cover off in the rear and left dirty hand prints all over my black jeep. I despise working with Steve Landers, but unfortunately have to with warranty related work, which is often. Paid almost $1,700 for a repair that did not fix the issue. Bringing vehicle in again for the third time for the same issue. Upset that the last repair may not even have been necessary. First appointment they changed my oil but forgot to service the breaks like I asked them to. Made a second appointment on a different day and they changed the breaks but it did not address the squeeking noise. Made a third appointment for them to diagnose and they ordered a part and said it was the shocks. Came in for a fourth appointment and $1,700 later I left the dealership and the same issue still exists. Still have a loud squeeling noise when breaks are applied. Not happy with how much time and money I have spent at this place and here I am making a fifth appointment for another diagnostic and this is getting ridiculous. More
