Mr. Dooley, We are sorry you are not happy with your experience at the dealership. It is our job to sell you a vehicle, and we would want nothing more than to sell you a Ram truck. Your vehicle was never looked at personally because we actually were going to give you "Clean" book value from Black Book. You hadn't mentioned that there was anything wrong with the vehicle so after looking up the Carfax in our system and seeing that the title didn't show any red flags, we thought this was agreeable. A lot of other dealers would have only given fair value, and picked apart the condition of your vehicle to validate a lower trade-in value but we don't do that at Landmark. The Ram you were looking for was not on our lot, but we did locate it for you in NC. In our discussions, you expressed wanting a $12,000+ Off MSRP deal but we told you that we would get as close as possible but we don't have any discounts up to $12,000 Off. The dealership in NC wasn't open on Sunday, so we could not get a hold of the proper person to discuss doing a dealer trade for you. This explains why we couldn't give you an exact day that the truck would be at the dealership for you. As far as our salesperson dragging you back into his office, he probably didn't realize that it was a big deal. He spends his whole work week in there and probably didn't think much of it. We can still locate you the truck that you wanted, or sell you a Ram from our inventory of almost 300 within the Landmark Family of dealerships. Regards, Tim Lambert and Landmark Team
