I bought a Chrysler 300 from Melinda, who made the car buying experience awesome. She was very nice, patient, and worked to find the car I wanted in my budget. It definitely wasn't the normal dealer attitude you get from most dealerships. She actually listened to me and even to the time to send a card thanking me for buying a car from there, which you may think big deal. However in the letter she also congratulated me on the newest member of our family. It made me feel good that she listened to me and remembered our conversation during the short test drive and took the time to tell me a few days afterwards. Thank you Melinda and the rest of the staff at Landmark for working with me. I love the new car and owe it all to you! More
In terms of the salesmen, I can’t speak to the sales department. BUT from what I have personally seen, the service department is unprofessional and lazy. Take your car the extra few miles to a different department. BUT from what I have personally seen, the service department is unprofessional and lazy. Take your car the extra few miles to a different Jeep dealership. Today I came in with an appointment at 7 am. They didn’t speak to me, greet me, or anything until 7:15. Once I was greeted I was informed that the person assigned to my appointment wasn’t even there (she was late?). So I leave, go to the gym, come back. They tell me they cant replicate my issue and are sending me on my way. I wanted to talk with the manger who comes off as your standard Bill (older white male with a southern accent that doesn’t give a xxxx). He told me to “drop my attitude” and take my car elsewhere to get another opinion instead of listening to my problems. IM FED UP WITH THIS PLACE. See more details below. I purchased my BRAND NEW Jeep Compass back in Aug 2018 with a FULL 60k Mile Warranty. Pretty much since the day I purchased it, I’ve had issues with CarPlay system. No one can hear me and I have to drive around on speaker phone. Additionally, my car gets locked on the reverse camera or the reverse camera doesn’t even come on at all. I’ve brought it in TWO times and have been turned away saying they can’t “replicate it”. I’ve called friends in front of them and showed them my issue, have shown videos of the camera stuck in reverse and still nothing. They continue to blame my band new iPhone. I STILL cannot use CarPlay on my brand new car. Don’t go here if you have issues. They’re rude, entitled, and unprofessional. More
I suppose WAREHOUSE PRICING means pay way more than you need So I took my son to this dealer for his first new car buying experience. The salesman was very knowledgeable about the RAM truck my son was interested So I took my son to this dealer for his first new car buying experience. The salesman was very knowledgeable about the RAM truck my son was interested in. After he jumped it off, he took it to their service department where he explained all the functions; very informative. We then test-drove a similar truck since the salesman "didn't want to get stuck somewhere" in THAT truck. After the test drive, my son was interested enough to start talking price. The truck was listed on the website at a discounted price of roughly $25K (2019 with an original MSRP of $40K). Of course my son only qualified for around $3000 of discounts because NO ONE would ever qualify for all of them! Throughout approximately 90 minutes of the salesman trying to "make a deal", we asked for the price they were willing to sell the truck and the amount they would offer for my son's trade-in. 30 minutes after that, we TOLD THEM what we would pay for the truck and would take for the trade. At that point, the salesman said he would take that to the finance guy but we would have to give them $100 cash or check in EARNEST MONEY. WHAT??????? I have purchased at least 25 new vehicles in my lifetime, and never have i spent 3 1/2 hours with a dealer only to be asked for earnest money? Needless to say, we did not buy a vehicle from this dealer, but my son did have a very learning experience which bode well for him at the next dealer where he purchased the same truck. If you don't mind paying ORIGINAL MSRP for a vehicle that's been sitting on a lot for over a year, OR, you don't care what you're actually paying for a vehicle, AND you dont mind giving a salesman a $100 bill to walk 10 feet to the finance guy and make a deal, LANDMARK is for you! Otherwise, save yourself 3 1/2 hours and go somewhere else! More

I found a car I fell in love with! Submitted an app and was contacted by Terri. I explained my situation of not expecting to need a new car, had paid off my previous car already. I was moving out of state, was contacted by Terri. I explained my situation of not expecting to need a new car, had paid off my previous car already. I was moving out of state, using a Uhaul trailer attached to my suv which led to my transmission going out pulling the weight of the Uhaul. I told them I was limited on transportation since that incident had occured and didn't want to waste their time or mine (also getting ubers to get back there, thinking I was going to drive off the lot in somthing). Terri told me to come in and we could figure it out. When I got to dealership, Terri was busy so I worked with David who seemed kind at first meeting until he figured I was denied and wrote me off as a sale, his whole demeanor changed with me. I said I had no money to put down and told them the range I felt comfortable with since I was stepping back into car payments and they said no at first. Said they wanted me in something more expensive, longer term. Tried to get me in a Dodge journey. I knew that wasn't what the deal was, went there with my mind set on something else. After trying to get me to test drive something I didn't want, they said they'd try for what I wanted again, though it had more miles and was less expensive than what they wanted me in. They went over numbers, made everything seem like a guarantee and told me to come in the next day. The car was finishing up on repairs such as new tires, windshield& cleaning. The next morning I went in, they had me sign more paperwork, even for tire warranty saying it'd only add $6 extra monthly on my monthly payment. This day I had my 3 year old daughter with me. Thinking we were going to pay for another uber and drive away from what was discussed with the car salesmen the day before. When we got there David was completely done helping me, so I wanted my deposit back that was to hold the car since it seemed they weren't going to fall through with the deal of the car I wanted. Each time I left the dealership I had to walk to another destination since I still didn't have the car. This day, which was a Saturday, my 3 year old had to walk with me since the promise of a car still didn't fall through. I really loved this car, and after getting my deposit back (that they wouldn't give back until hours later because the guy they said had access to the deposits was not there at the time when I first was dropped off) asked them if there was a way to guarantee that car for my children and I to pay on. When my daughter and I walked back to the dealership, to pick up the deposit since all my hopes were all shot down, I spoke with the sales manager Jody. After speaking with him, everything felt perfect. He asked me for the last of verification needed for finance and I provided that since the other sales people weren't clear on anything besides telling me to wait, and then Jody said come back the following Monday since banks were closed on Saturday. So excited for Monday to come around, already having papers signed, told my children I'd be picking them up in our new car. This time my daughter wasn't with me walking from the dealership, but, I still had to walk, but at least thought this was finalizing and come Monday, I'd have my car. The lot had my hold for the car again and was just waiting for the verification papers to go to the bank on Monday. I was told to be there by 3pm Monday unless they were done quicker and they'd call me to come in sooner. Ok, so Monday comes around. Glad I didn't bring any of my children. This day was definitely colder than the others. I had called before getting an uber out that way. Spoke with Jody, and he said he submitted the rest of my paperwork but on a different car and was waiting to hear from the bank. I assumed maybe he thought I was someone else because he said a different car than the one I had already signed for and basically begged for. I walked into the dealership and Terri and Jody were both there at a desk, and asked why I was there. I told him that he said be there at 3pm and he stated that was before the phone call. He told me I needed to wait for his call because they hadn't finished with the bank process. I told him I came in because I thought he confused me with someone else on the phone because he said something about a different car beside the one I was begging them for. He interrupted me saying he knew it was me & I shouldn't have came until he called, even though the agreement was 3pm, or a call in sooner. I told him I'd leave, but was still in love with the other car so he said he'd go ahead and switch everything back to the car I was wanting. I said ok & left out, I had to go look at the car since I didnt get to really look at it like I wanted and noticed a sign saying, "look away, I'm sold." Omg I was livid after going through all of this and seeing it said sold after they said I could still finance it! I was done at that point. I went back and addressed this to Jody and Teri and asked for my hold deposit back, but they reassured me that the sign on the car was for me, saying it's mine. So I calmed down and walked to a restaurant since they said they were still waiting for the bank. Figured I'd give them til bank close around 5/6pm. It's funny that I worked in banking and just kept thinking I'm constantly being told to wait wait wait, but car dealerships are open late on saturdays, well past bank close time, and people still leave in cars (unless everyone comes there with 20thou cash, I'm not understanding). 6pm comes, I'm walking back to the dealership, keep in mind this day it's been raining (snow starting) and I figure this isn't going to happen for me and I might as well get my money, leave and be done. I go in to the lot, Teri and Jody at the same desk I saw them at when I first got there at 3pm. Told them they could have just told me they couldn't work with me and I wouldn't bother returning if they didn't want me to. So this time there were other customers sitting like they were being helped. Jody tells Teri to take them to financing, and I thought he was referring to the other customers, but he said "no, her." So I followed them back over to financing, and Teri says she wished I gave them more time. I told her I really need transportation for my children and work, and without knowing how long I needed to wait, couldn't (jobs don't understand being told wait, I need a car to work). The finance guy named Mike Linell walks over and gave me my hold deposit and had me sign something saying it was returned and was done with me. I had to know what happened with all of this, I'd NEVER been put through this kind of treatment in any situation, much less the car buying situation. I had him explain. He said he was trying to work out the deal I was offered from them to the bank but it was going to take longer with the terms I was comfortable with. After the whole conversation went down with him, he said he could make something work if I could put around $2000 down, instead of what was agreed upon before. Remember I told them before coming in what my situation was. I didn't have that money to put down. Only co owner I could have tried was my ex husband which I didn't want to do. So I went ahead and left but Mr Linell said he'd still try to see what he could do, we all know that means, "we're done with you." I haven't heard from anyone in the office, even after submitting more paperwork that was asked for. I give up, and wasted so much time and money on ubers. I have hypertension and doing all of that walking did no good for me or my 3 year old, especially the day I had to walk in the rain. If I was offered something to use and be mobile in while my car was finalizing, it'd been easier to wait as they kept telling me without any known dates of completion (like other car dealerships do). They never offered anything like that. When I walked off the lot the last time after all the dirty stares from the ones who "helped me'" another salesmen said, "you've just been walking like crazy, I've seen you up and down the street these past few days." That was even more of a slap in the face. This whole situation seemed like a game to them. "We have some of her money, let's see how many times we can get her up here and string her along until she gives up." This was wrong on so many levels and hurt. I can't believe it happened like that. I never leave reviews but after this happened and explaining the situation to another car lot the sales people there thought I should leave a review. I got a headache just thinking on all of this and jotting it down, but thought maybe it'd help someone else. I also read through some of the other reviews and it does seem like their service, customer service is horrible. Felt less bad knowing it wasn't just me. Didn't want to play race card, but never saw anyone else of color there any of the days I was there ( Thurs/ Friday up until Monday night when I finally gave up). Like I was just looked at as an ignorant person of color they could play with. Meanwhile the car salesmen (mainly Jody) kept referring to me as "Trouble." As soon as I'd walk into the dealership I heard, "here comes Trouble," while everyone turns and looks at me (demeaning on so many levels)... How am I trouble for needing a car, and being told to come back? I just wish they said they couldn't work with me and not give myself and children false hopes, whatever the reason. Avoid the wasted money on ubers and unnecessary walking (for my 3 year old daughter or myself, felt like I've never walked so much in my life). Hopefully this helped someone and hopefully they get better training in the areas the lacked during all of this. Good luck! #FrustratedMom More
